Los Angeles based producer Kingdom (@kkingdomm) has built substantial influence with both his own discography and the output from his Fade to Mind imprint. He first began to make a name for himself in New York City via a series of mixtapes and club nights, rejecting traditional genre limitations while adeptly combining elements of underground club music with currents of rap and R&B, developing his own potent strain of dance music. His unique, otherworldly yet bass heavy productions and DJ sets morph influences from the US, UK and beyond, finding common threads and pulling them apart at the seams.

After creating several runway soundtracks for burgeoning fashion label Hood By Air, and DJing at some of the first ever Ghe20 Goth1k (NYC) and Night Slugs (UK) events, Kingdom moved to Los Angeles to join friends Total Freedom and Nguzunguzu where they founded Fade to Mind, fostering a growing group of experimental musicians and songwriters and cementing the the label's cult following. In 2013 he garnered widespread acclaim for his work both producing and creative directing Kelela’s debut project CUT 4 ME and its breakout single "Bank Head". 

His 2017 debut album Tears in the Club featured collaborations with SZA and Syd, and his latest  LP Neurofire expanded his musical universe further, introducing a more turbulent and textured sound palette, as well as debuting new vocal talents Kayla Blackmon and Semma. 2022, 2023, and 2024 has found Kingdom collaborating closely with breakout star Shygirl on her UK top 40 charting album Nymph, plus two productions on her latest “Club Shy” project, as well as collaborations with Tinashe and ABRA.

Kingdom launched successful Fade to Mind 11-year Anniversary celebrations in 2023 in NYC and L.A., which featured performances from Bobby Beethoven (FKA Total Freedom), MikeQ, Venus X, Ms. Boogie, and many more. He has performed extensively across North and South America, Asia, and Europe, and has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Fader, Dazed and Confused, Pitchfork, and Artforum.
