Studio re-recording of my DJ set at Crop Circles, by Sectoid Productions 29th May - 1st June 2025, NSW Far South Coast.  

I always love playing a transition set.  With HighTech before my and morning full-on afterwards, I start out with a bit of a pallette cleansing intro into fast and dark @ 155 and over 90 minutes work it down to bouncy, funky @ 148.

So great to play on the epic rig outdoors and share the decks with some amazing overseas and interstate artists

This is a recording of my minimal psy-techno live set at Check 7, an intimate party in the bush, 2 hours from Sydney.  This was my first time playing these slower, funkier tunes out and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Live @ Check 7, Minimal Psy-techno day set

Re-recording of my hybrid DJ / Live set at Forest Life, 21st June 2025 in the forest near Canberra.

I had so much fun putting this together and playing it out in the bush.  Balls to the wall psytrance is my happy place!  I start out fast and chunky @ 152 and then slowly bring the pace down and chill out a bit to get to my own arrangements @ 142 for the last half hour of the set.  Some classic old tracks in there setting up the transition from the CDJs to the Akai Force

Forest Life Hybrid Set

Studio re-recording of my 3 hour set at Equinox, a bush party by my own crew P.Sub Sound System.  Playing on your own PA at your own doof is truly one of my favourite experiences.

Covering from 4am - 7am this set starts out fast and funky, gets a bit faster and darker and then chills out into the twilight and sunrise.

3 hr Funky Night Psy set @ P.Sub Equinox

Fractalias is the psytrance project of Australian producer Miko Blyde, also known as DJ Nazca.  Miko first discovered psy trance and doofing in 1997 in Northen NSW.  He began DJ'ing at bush parties around Aus in 2002, and was an integral part of Sydney crew, Electric Power Pole Productions and their famous "Track" series of parties.  His Nazca DJ sets have spanned may genres over the years, but his true love and passion is belting out mind bending full-on psy.

While always dabbling in scoring his own tunes, he kicked things up a notch and went all in with an all hardware workflow in 2019, and has been perfecting his production and performance chops ever since.  As Fractalias, Miko delivers a 100% live performance of his original music. Fractalias' sound is unique blend of glitchy, mind bending harmonics, intricate rhythms and heavy basslines. Old-school psytrance vibes mixed with some of the harder and glitchy sounds borrowed from modern full-on and darkpsy.

Miko is also the founder and driving force behind P.Sub Sound System, a small crew hosting underground doofs on the NSW South Coast.
