The Fractalfest 2016 minimix series features 20 minute mixes from dj's & producers who will be playing at Fractaltribe's Fractalfest 2016. These mixes will be in the same style of music that each artist will be presenting. 

In Episode 5, we present a long time Fractal resident, Artemis, the most badass of girls who has the skills in all arenas to create a fantastic atmosphere. She is the kind of person who can pick up anything and within a day is a pro. Being a part of Fractaltribe since before the beginnings, she knows our history and exactly what is needed in each moment for optimal performances. In the recent past, her psybreaks sets have gone viral and set dance floors on fire. This year she will be presenting a techfunk set, her style will be a perfect funky driving amalgamation of this breaks, prog psy, and techno/house.

"As she looked through her quivver, Artemis thought, "I really could use a bath, I am *so* funky right now."  Accidently dropping what was in her hands, some shiny, funky looking arrows came tumbling out of the quivver and onto the Fractal Forest floor below. "Ooooooh, that's right! The tech-funk! Let's get going!" Off she went, bow and arrows in hand, nymphs by her side, to bathe in the river and then to shoot that rediscovered tech-funk down the line.

After a lovely, albeit cold bath, she picks up her bow and arrows and heads out.  What you are about to listen to is the spoils of this funkified hunt.  It is a magical unicorn of a sub-genre, treading the lines between breaks, progressive psy-trance, and tech(no/)house.  Artemis hopes you enjoy this mix, and looks forward to seeing you in the Fractal Forest!"
