Next up on Dynamo we have co-owner Fractious who is on fire with releases this summer on Loose Records, Trapez and Pornographic all getting big support from heavy hitters. This piece of art was recorded a night of 2023 using only the Roland TR8-S Drum Machine. However the first track gave a warm welcome to my modular system. Processed through a Soundcraft analog mixer which I recorded its stereo output into the computer.

A symbiosis of two young Italians, brought together by the same passion for electronic music and minimalistic Techno, which has successfully been going on for years now. Their first release on Polar Noise, one of the most prestigious labels in Italy, came pretty soon.

By now several hit tracks followed on renowned labels such as BE AS ONE, TRONIC, SUARA, DIRTY STUFF REC., KIARA, KLING KLONG, SCI + TEC and RAWTHENTIC. Macromism's Debutalbum „Superheroes“ was released on TRONIC, the label of Christian Smith, in Deczember 2013. This grandious album is quite technoid and references Macromism's well-known early minimal influences. Without a break, but still with creative ideas, they continued their studiowork and their reputation gained big till today.

Celebrating the milestone of 50 releases on MOOD Records, label boss Nicole Moudaber has put together this special mix from the MOOD catalogue alongside releasing a remix pack for her collaboration with Carl Cox.

'See You Next Tuesday', the collaboration from Moudaber and Cox originally released in 2014, will now be given new life in the form of remixes by Danny Tenaglia, Solardo, Truncate, Black Asteroid, Raxon and Trunkline. As one of the most popular releases on MOOD, it's an ideal time to reimagine the material.

Following the 'See You Next Tuesday' remixes, 'Mood50: The Best of Mood' will be released with 17 tracks mixed and compiled by Moudaber herself. The compilation features label favorites Pan-Pot, Victor Calderone, Scuba, Gregor Tresher and more.

Moudaber expressed her thoughts on having her esteemed label reach the 50 release milestone in just five years:

"It's been a labor of love and looking back at our 50 releases I feel an immense amount of pride and joy that all the releases can stand the test of time. It's a great platform and creative outlet for me -- if the music is good, then it needs to be heard. If I'm playing it during my sets or on my radio show, then I would release it. UK based Fractious (Stephen Garrett) has firmly fitted himself into the international techno community over the last few years, providing his own unique blend of groove based techno.  Having caught the attention of Christian Smith, he immediately signed him to his powerhouse label Tronic and a few months after selected for the annual Tronic Allstars VA.  Kevin Saunderson followed suit signing Fractious to his KMS Records, Victor Calderone for his Matter label, DJ Boris for his Transmit Recordings and lately Kaiserdisco for their KD RAW label.  

The success of these signings can be seen by the support from Ramon Tapia, Karotte, Slam, Paco Osuna, Markantonio, Mr. C, Pan-Pot, Just Be, Axel Karakasis, Kaiserdisco, Paco Osuna and Richie Hawtin having played his collaboration with Irregular Synth at the Enter closing party in Space and for a continued 6 months.  Next came Stacey Pullen charting a Fractious remix rocketing it into the Beatport Techno Top 100 and more regular plays from Richie Hawtin, from all over the globe, not only of his Fractious productions but also artists signed to his label Dynamo Recordings (co-owned with Ronan Teague - Decoy, Naked Lunch, Binary404). One track as such from Dynamo was used in an Official Minus Tour Video and was the first track in Richie Hawtin's BBC Radio One Essential Mix recorded live from Enter @ Space, Ibiza.

Fractious can be regularly found on other well-established labels such as Trapez, Waveform Recordings, Matter, MKT, Funk'n Deep, Loose Records, Gem Records, Pornographic, Night Light to name a few.

Fractious is in high demand when it comes to being remixed, with people such as Mr. C, Secret Cinema, ROD, Luigi Madonna, Frankyeffe, Steve Mulder, Richie Santana, Danilo Vigorito, Remy Unger, Petter B, Mars Bill, Matt Minimal, Dani Sbert, The Yellowheads, Alen Milivojevic, M. Fukuda, Peter Bailey, Etai Terazi all jumping at remix requests and always being approached by big labels and podcast sites.
