For the launch of our mix series, we’ve invited a very special guest, Noah Tauber!

There’s a good chance you already know about this guy, but if you don’t… get to know! He’s single handedly re-defining the soundscape of techno and electronic music as we know it with his punchy non-traditional basslines for the genre. This mix is giving dark, groovy, bouncy and danceable Techno that will get you up on your feet and moving! 

With a strong catalogue of releases, including features on labels such as K92, Noah Tauber has recently started to build a name for himself playing out in London and Berlin. We’re very excited to see how things progress for Noah and feel privileged to have him as our first guest.  

What’s crazy is that this mix has been curated using all original material produced by himself including a selection of his newest unreleased tracks 🤯 See tracklist below!

FRAGMENT 001 - NOAH TAUBER

We are really excited to share our latest mix with you from another very special guest. She doesn’t need much introduction as most of you will have seen her play or listened to her tracks but for those of you who are unfamiliar, Nakamo is a DJ/Producer who has been gracing warehouses and major venues across London and Europe for some time. 
 
We love the energy she brings to the dancefloor and have especially enjoyed some of her recent sets at iconic parties like Htbx, Structure and a special B2B with Becky Stroke at Noise Orchestra. Her dynamic take on hypnotic techno is influenced by various sounds and delivers a layered, captivating listening experience. 

Nakamo’s talent doesn’t stop at the decks as she dived into the production side of music back in 2022. In a short space of time, she’s built up a strong catalague of tracks including releases on notable labels such as Prtl Wax and a collaborative EP on Leisure World with another familiar face, Ctrltraxx. 

We really hope you enjoy this mix as much as we do! Get ready for a hypnotic journey featuring three unreleased tracks from Nakamo herself following some inspiration from our first release! FRAGMENT 002 - NAKAMO

Christmas has come early! As a December special, we are pleased to present you the first of two mixes this month from two incredibly talented artists. 

First up, HADŌ delivers a driving yet hypnotic and groovy listening experience featuring tracks from some of our favourite artists. It’s exactly what we love to hear and we hope you feel the same! The diverse track selection, smooth transitions and overall energy really makes this a special mix worth listening to. 

HADŌ is an Italian born, London based DJ/producer whose musical journey began around the age of ten with Latin American guitar and saw him experiment with a number of different genres and instruments before being drawn towards electronic music, as he got closer to the underground clubbing scene in London. His sets are an exploration of the primal and instinctive human connection with rhythm through a blend of intricate percussive soundscapes and nostalgic yet forward-thinking harmonies. 

As a relatively new face in the techno game, HADŌ’s productions have recently started to gain traction from big names such as Slam, Arnaud Le Texier, and Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann amongst others. FRAGMENT 003 - HADŌ

There was a slight delay to the second part of our December special but it was worth the wait! We’re starting this year how we mean to carry on and who better to kickstart our 2025 than local talent, Jeneva!

Having spent some time abroad in Madrid and building a name for herself as a DJ there, she’s back in the UK and bringing her unique musical style to the capital. We love her take on techno with her trademark style of blending the dark and hypnotic with groove to take listeners on a journey through sound. 

Fresh off the back of her Snooze debut, we’re pleased to share this high energy mix, packed with groove and mixed with elegance. With a history of studying classical music, Jeneva carefully curates her mixes in an intricate manner with her sets building intensity as she sets the scene, before immersing you in relentless rhythms! 

She’s growing as an artist in the local underground scene and we are sure she is going to establish herself as a regular figure here. Be sure to follow her journey!

FRAGMENT 004 - JENEVA

As a London based collective, we are committed to promoting local talent. At the same time, we also want to establish our musical identity and showcase talent from around the world. That’s why we’ve invited Staana, a Berlin based DJ/Producer, to be our first international guest because her sound & sophisticated take on techno really resonates with us.

Staana has a unique style which takes listeners on a journey through hypnotic and ethereal techno with a build up of energy to get you moving! This mix delivers a particularly raw listening experience as she navigates her way through the soundscape of driving hypnotic with her trademark mixing style and other worldly sounds. 

We are excited to see what the future holds for her as she is no doubt an emerging talent set for big things! She’s already played in some of Germany’s most respected venues and is taking her sound across Europe, with a notable debut for Aura at Radion on the horizon. We hope to see her grace the dance-floors of London in the near future 🙏

FRAGMENT 005 - STAANA

Up next we are pleased to present to you,  NOHEXCODE!

With a standout performance in the Steam Room at Unfold on new years day, this year is already off to an iconic start. Previous gigs include the main room at Unfold, Glitchtopia with upcoming sets for Silhouette and Radar coming soon. As well as their solo ventures, she forms half of UNICA which is a DJ collaboration with Citytronix to deliver their combined musical vision, predominantly through their show on Voices Radio.

They are no stranger to the decks, starting early but more recently focusing their attention to the realm of techno. Their distinct sound really resonates with us and she caught our eye through their impressive stream for Mission London as well as that special Unfold set at new years. Seamlessly blending the dark and hypnotic alongside groove, their mixes deliver a unique listening experience that you don’t want to end! This mix is a perfect example of that 🔥

FRAGMENT 006 - NOHEXCODE

This has been an exciting week as we unveiled the line for our event on 10th May! We hope to see as many of you there as possible but in the meantime, we are continuing our podcast series where we aim to show off more upcoming talent and finetune the range of sound that defines our vision. 
 
Up next, we are pleased to present to you, Psykoterapi 🤩
 
She’s a rising star from the underground scene in Stockholm and is definitely an artist to watch out for! Over the past couple of years, she has honed her craft and shaped her unique sound which has ultimately established her as prominent name in the local scene and earnt her a residency at Spektrum. 

Psykoterapi’s style can best be described as spellbinding, immersive, driving and hypnotic. She creates a building energy that keeps listeners engaged in a trance-like state from start to finish. This mix is no different as she subtly builds the intensity taking you from a psychedelic state of comfort to losing control of your body as you move to the rhythm. We look forward to following her journey and hope you all do too.

FRAGMENT 007 - PSYKOTERAPI

For our next release, we are so excited to present to you, for the first time, Body Snatchers b2b Ezrela!

For those of you who don’t know them, they are an iconic techno couple hailing from the north of England, both paving their way individually but always supporting each other’s journey. 

Body Snatchers has already established himself as a prominent producer with releases on labels such as Ear to the Ground, Isaarn and Khazad. As a DJ, he’s a resident for Høl, which is arguably one of the most established collectives up North but he’s also known for bringing his distinct sound to the capital with a particularly iconic performance at Unfold which was one for the history books. He’s recognised by many of the greats for his technical ability and he is someone to watch out for!

Ezrela is slightly newer on the scene but an emerging talent for sure. She is fresh off the back of a debut for Høl and Structure in Liverpool, and already has a few gigs under her belt. With a love for dancing, she’s taken that passion behind the decks to deliver grooves to get you moving. Other notable performances include a feature for Glue Liverpool, which is another growing party with a great ethos. 

We wanted to celebrate this iconic musical couple together, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

FRAGMENT 008 - BODY SNATCHERS B2B EZRELA

There’s no rest for the wicked so we’re straight back to it with another podcast release. If you liked the music on Saturday, there’s a high chance you’ll be vibing to this mix by rising star, Dirty Youth!

Dirty Youth first caught our eyes with his productions with some notable releases on BCCO. We dug a little deeper and fell in love with his relentless, driving grooves! With recent features on Paradigm and Influenced Records, he’s definitely one to watch out for!

Hailing from Germany, he’s been into music from an early age and his journey through sound (and instruments) has led him to follow a path of techno. He’s the co-founder of Pulse Kollektiv in Leipzig and building a name for himself as an iconic DJ locally and further afield.

This mix delivers exactly what we expected! High intensity groove and rhythm from start to finish. We’re so happy to have him feature on the series and we know the future will be bright for Dirty Youth.

FRAGMENT 009 - DIRTY YOUTH

Up next, we are pleased to present another familiar face, Dani De Lara!  

Dani is an emerging DJ in the London scene having moved here from Spain. His Midweek Session party started as a weekly gathering of friends in his flat, but has quickly grown into staple party in a lot of people's calendars in venues such as Peckham Audio, Venue MOT and Carpet Shop. He shares a similar vision to us in terms of creating a platform for local artists and forming a community around the music so we are more than happy to have him as a part of the Fragment mix series. 

His style is hard to pin down as he can play a broad range of sounds ranging from techno, to hard groove, to house. He would describe himself as a hard groove enthusiast but for this mix, he delivers his interpretation of the Fragment sound whilst staying true to his own style.

FRAGMENT 010 - DANI DE LARA

Up next in the mix series, we have Modlar delivering an hour of relentless groove! 

The Italian born DJ/producer and sound engineer has become a well-known figure in London for their skills behind her decks, but also through their commitment to building community around the music. As co-founder of @Glitchtopia_ , Modlar promotes local queer, FLINTA and POC artists as well as creating a platform for dancers to bring their unique styles to the floor. There is a strong sense of community around their movement, and they make sure to provide opportunities to artists who are just starting their journey through their open decks events and other initiatives. 

In terms of their own style, Modlar’s sound has been on a journey but ultimately landed somewhere that fits very much into our vision for Fragment so we are super happy to have her as part of the series. This mix is packed full of energy, animalistic and primal sounds, but with a continuous rhythm that will keep you moving! Keep an eye for this artist as they continue on their journey through sound.

FRAGMENT 011 - MODLAR

After a short break, we’re back and really excited to welcome CITYTRONIX to the podcast series! 

CITYTRONIX is a sound designer and producer-come-DJ, residing in the South East of the UK. She has been playing out since 2017 and has become a recognisable face within the music scene and known for playing at venues such as The DBA, Fold, Venue MOT and The Cause. She has also been involved with other aspects regarding exhibitive and installation works.

CITYTRONIX also runs the monthly show UNICA with Nohexcode on Voices Radio, predominantly focusing on trans and non-binary up-and-coming talent to showcase.

For this mix she blends hypnotic tropes with very rhythmic and percussive foundations for your listening pleasure and the intent to create movement within your body and be in touch with yourself. We hope you love it as much as we do!
