This is the full version of the music that plays during Steven's dream in Lion 3: Straight to Video. Joe and I were scheduled to pitch our storyboards one day, but something came up and we had to postpone the pitch. I stayed in the conference room and started making up a silly song in GarageBand while I waited. Later on I thought it would be fun to use that song for the scene in Lion 3! It turned out to be weirdly appropriate for Dogcopter's speech. I had a lot of fun writing the dialogue for this scene with some assistance from Rebecca. There's some ideas in there that I feel really strongly about and it's really cool that they could make it into the show!

Every once in a while I do something a little different, and this is definitely that. The entire time I was working on this song I had no idea what the hell I was doing. It started with programming the power chord synth you hear throughout the song in NI Massive, and then I thought it might be cool to do another themed song like Balloons In My Basket, but with Rainbow Dash, and then other things just kind of started happening, at some point my guitar and dunlop crybaby got involved and the next thing I knew lyrics were coming out of my mouth. Cause that's how music used to work for me.
