Homestuck Vol. 9- Moonsetter

This is the full version of the music that plays during Steven's dream in Lion 3: Straight to Video. Joe and I were scheduled to pitch our storyboards one day, but something came up and we had to postpone the pitch. I stayed in the conference room and started making up a silly song in GarageBand while I waited. Later on I thought it would be fun to use that song for the scene in Lion 3! It turned out to be weirdly appropriate for Dogcopter's speech. I had a lot of fun writing the dialogue for this scene with some assistance from Rebecca. There's some ideas in there that I feel really strongly about and it's really cool that they could make it into the show!

Finally got around to exploring more in the world of trackers. Using OpenMPT because it's really powerful and flexible, and there's a lot of documentation available.

Still takes a lot of getting used to though, so I'm using it as a sequencer to drive a virtual synth I was familiar with to save time fiddling with sounds.

Posting this as a sketch because I intended to expand on the arrangement, but the loop transition worked out so well, so I guess this would be a preview of things to come (although I'm always terrible at keeping those promises).
