Jonny Sum (@jonny-sum) brings his brand of emotive driven dance music to HOMAGE with a masterclass in heartstring-tugging atmospherics and nuanced melodic downpours - merging together his shared experience from performing in NYC and LA.

The EP starts off with the eerie atmospheres of ‘Haunted’ which move like a supernatural breeze through trees on a winter's night. This is interrupted by flourishing chords that add nuance and tranquility to a deep and thoughtful track, blending intricately around the track’s ghostly vocal samples. ‘Dead & Gone’ adds weight to the scales in a euphoric outpour of emotion; combining bulky kick drums and nostalgic leads while continually walking the tightrope between tears and joy.

Having recently remixed for Barker & Baumecker, Gallegos (@gallegos_1991) shares his unique synth writing and masterful grooves on ‘Haunted’ in a playful flip that fuses acidic melodies with skippy rhythms and assured sound design. NY artist Private Browsing (@privatebrowsing41) then uses Haunted’s existing emotionality and creates a down-tempo voyage that moves slowly toward the oceans floor.
