Raised and based in Berlin, https://soundcloud.com/fraenz_303: developed a passion for electronic music early on. As a DJ she enjoys combining different styles from clean classical techno via euphoric vocal soundscapes to what she calls PowerHouse, whilst focusing on fast-paced grooves.

She is Mama, co-founder and resident of https://soundcloud.com/layerscollective supporting underrepresented DJs, performance and visual artists from the FLINTA+ community.

At this years Sägewerk edition she played the early Sunday morning sunrise slot at Terminal 21 stage. Her mix reflects hard hitting beats from the night, spherical breaks from dawn and housy melodic elements from the day, whilst being infused by many vocals for extra catchy energy.

@jil_andre has been living in Dresden for four years and has met many wonderful people through music since then. She started learning piano at the age of four and is still a fan, always inspired by other instruments too.

Her music selection, especially in the techno genre, is very diverse, and she gets quickly captivated by the tiniest elements. With her whole collection of tracks, she tries to create an interesting mix that builds harmoniously and tells a little story to the listeners. In this podcast, you'll find some of her current favorites. It's a hypnotic journey with some groovy elements.

The second release on Hypnotic Journeys brings together emerging Georgian producers and celebrated names from the global techno scene, weaving a story of tension, resistance, and transcendence.

Batumi-based newcomer Grenuy opens the compilation with a debut ambient piece that feels both intimate and expansive, a slow-burning meditation on space and emotion. His work is reimagined by Van Morph, a revered producer and founder of Khoros Records, who drives the track into deeper territory with an old-school, hypnotic groove.

NFNM (formerly Kapa), a young yet distinctive voice in the Tbilisi underground, delivers a piece of textural techno rich with movement and raw emotion. The journey concludes with a powerful remix by Tsott, founder of the forward-thinking Spira Records, whose deep and cerebral approach brings the compilation full circle.

“Friction” is a testament to Hypnotic Journeys’ ethos: uniting generations, sounds, and visions through hypnotic techno as a futurist statement.
