Fragmentor - official resident at Mind Off Party at VENT​ club in Tokyo, was born in the first half of the 80s in Italy. After a long experience as a DJ and music producer around the world, in 2014 he decided to create and focus on “Fragmentor" as new alias, thus opening a new and ambitious chapter of his artistic career. 
His techno DJ sets and productions have a dark, powerful and edgy soul. He has been rapidly accelerating in the world of techno with his cutting edge mixes and solid productions. 
In April 2017 he released a single called “Black Tartan” on Ribbon Recordings​ which includes a remix by Tobias.​

東京を拠点に活動するDJ、プロデューサー。現在、東京を代表するテクノ・パーティMind Offのレジデントを務め、Dustin Zahn、Jonas Kopp, Oscar Muleroなどヨーロッパを代表するDJらと共演。2017年にはドイツBerghainのレーベルOstgut Tonを代表するプロデューサー、TobiasのRemixを収録した”Black Tartan”EPをリリース。また今春にはTresorからもリリースを重ねるJonas KoppのRemixを自身の新レーベル”Follow The Flow”からリリース予定。東京に拠点を置きながらヨーロッパのアーティストとの楽曲制作やPodcastへのmix提供など、プロジェクトの活動は多岐に渡り、ライブセットで表現される彼のダークでソリッドなテクノミュージックと鋭いMIXは、フロアに興奮をもたらせます。

自分のスタジオで録音しました。


2.コンセプトがあれば教えてください。 

私は10代の頃から電子音楽、とりわけテクノミュージックに夢中になりました。DJ MIXは、自分のイメージする音楽を慎重に選びながら自分だけの流れと雰囲気を創りだすことが最善の方法だと考えています。人前でプレイするとき、聴いてくれる人が同じ物語や旅を共有することができるよう特別なうねりを生み出したいと思っています。私の目標は、そのうねりでみんなを別次元と結びつけることです。

 3.最近の活動を教えてください。 
最近はヨーロッパで、そしてもちろん日本でも、レジデントを務めるMind Offというパーティでプレイしました。さらに多くの時間を音楽制作に費やしました。2017年にデジタルリリースした「Black Tartan」（Tobias.Remixを含む）のアナログ盤は、Ribbon Recordingsから、すぐリリースされる予定です。12月には、私の新しいレーベルFollow The Flowから最初の作品でJonas Koppプロデュースの”lamik EP”がリリースされます。このEPは、「lamik」「Bangua」「Shasta」「lamik-remix」という魅惑的な4つのトラックで構成されています。Follow The Flowは単なるレコードレーベルではなく、エレクトリック・ミュージックと自然(植物学、昆虫学、民族植物学など)に焦点をあてた思考であり、マルチメディアプロジェクトです。Follow The Flowは、物事の自然の流れとまた結びつくことや、レーベルのモットーでもある「テクノロジーを通じて自然を再発見する」ことを手助けするオーディオヴィジュアルツールを創り出すことを目的としています。その後、Unum RecordsとQuartz Recから新しいトラックのリリースを予定しています。

"The first Follow The Flow release is produced by Jonas Kopp. “Iamik EP” is composed of four hypnotic tracks: “Iamik”, “Iamik” (Fragmentor Remix), “Bangua” and “Shasta”. The first three tracks of the EP mark Follow The Flow's classy and cutting-edge Techno style. The last track of the EP, “Shasta” is a timeless high quality drone track, which really puts the cherry on top of it all. The cover photo is curated by the famous Italian photographer Alessio Guarino. Follow The Flow is a multimedia project focused on electronic music and nature (botanic, entomology, ethnobotanic, etc). Follow The Flow aims to create audiovisual tools that will help people reconnect with the natural flow of things and “Rediscover Nature Through Technology", which is also the label’s motto" [Triple Vision].
