From a distance and with keen interest, we have observed the increasing number of DJs, producers, music collectives and clubs that have burst on to the scene. Gira is an important force of this evolution.

Over the last couple of years, Gira has invited and shared the booth with a bunch of A+ selectors like Sugar Free, Andrew James Gustav, Digby, Youandewan, Alec Falconer, Riccardo, Manuel Schatz, the gentlemen from Beau Mot Plage, and many more. With great energy and enthusiasm, Gira is someone whose passion for music is impossible to miss. Lorenzo is a digger and DJ born in Buenos Aires. He is co-founder and member of Eclex, a podcast and artistic collective that brings together collectors from different parts of the world and also of Amalgama, a cycle of parties based on Buenos Aires that aims to expose the work of DJs from the local circuit.

To our 4th podcast we welcome one of Portugal's most influential Djs and Producers, @zoy23 .

Big man from the west coast of Portugal, a long time in business and former member of the collective Bloop recordings.
5 years ago he dedicated himfself to his Luhk project, releasing music from labels such as Scenario, Quality Vibe and one of the Portuguese references, Carpet & Snares.
Currently focused on his publisher Cross Over (Bandcamp Only), and his live performances, he delivers this podcast influenced by his roots, house, techno, minimal and trance.

Martin is part of this digger generation a little ahead of his time, who always seeks further in sounds that we have lost the habit of listening.  

This podcast brings together some of the music that Martin has been focusing on for the last few years: especially the period between the end of disco and the beginning of electronic music, let's say between 1977 and 1985, when post punk, disco, R&B and funk fused to give us funky rhythms bathed in an avant-garde vibe. It was the first big era of synthesizers and other electronic gear, but they were still played and not yet programmed, to bring us the best of two worlds: futuristic sounds and human musicality.

Hellu ladies and gents. It’s time for another edition of our mix series. So let’s jump on the OUFFFCAST train! To guide us on our musical journey we’re proud to present one of Portugal’s finest selectors - Manata.

A well known face in the Portuguese underground scene, Manata is a dedicated record collector with a penchant for mixing the old with the new. Back in the 2014 he won the competition of the Clube de Criativos de Portugal, together with Bloop Recordings. From then on Manata has been on a steady rise, having played in clubs and at parties all across the country, carefully honing his craft and diligently adding to his ever-increasing record collection.

In 2019 he released his first track on one of Berlin’s freshest up-and-coming labels Kaizenrecordsberlin. In the same year, he also went on to launch his very own vinyl only label Nugs On Board, which now boasts an impressive roster of producers and remixers such as Robbenspierre, Dormald, Tiago Marques, Roberto Manolio, Phil Evans, Giammarco Orsini and Jacobo Lantini. 

We’re delighted to welcome Manata to the OUFFFCAST familia. It’s time for take off. All aboard. See you in the comments section ;)
