Frames in Motion is an indie rock band based in Seattle, and is the creative vehicle of singer and guitarist Jack Shriner. Originally from Wisconsin, Shriner grew up in a family of musicians. He has been a songwriter and home recording artist since he was a teenager, and his music has been featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered Open Mic and Ball of Wax’s Audio Quarterly. Previously releasing albums under his own name, he formed Frames in Motion with bassist Matt Butler and drummer David Solomon (The Light Above the Clouds) in 2016. Lead guitarist Jon Fickes (A View of Earth from the Moon) rounded out the lineup in 2019.

Shriner painstakingly recorded and mixed the tracks for Euptablisses, the band’s latest LP, in his apartment, with Butler, Solomon, and other friends helping to bring the songs to life. A musical omnivore, with an expansive sound that merges elements of dream-pop, folk rock, and prog, Shriner writes songs that reflect the variety of influences informing his eclectic and  introspective worldview.
