Best known for his fine mental dash and intricate modular assemblies which have been featured on the likes of Granulart, Pole Group, Tsunami Records and KEY, the Barcelona-based hypnotist laid down for us a two-hour shy mind-boggler of a - vinyl-only - mix. A true Rorschach test of gridlocked machine funk interwoven with tuff-as-nail hardware bursts and more atmospheric flights, this one will keep you guessing as to what the next bar may bring to the table. FWP 066 is brought us to by Paris based DJ and producer, Benales. 

He has been honing his skills since the end of the 90s with impeccable taste and steady determination. 

As an avid record collector, vinyl only DJ and enthusiast of Techno and House – his DJ sets and tracks combine the raw, dark and deep elements of these musical forms with a firm nod in the direction of Detroit. His talent has allowed himself to man the booth in many esteemed clubs across Europe such as Tresor, Rex Club, Le sucre, The Gate (Georgia) and also as a regular guest of Concrete which has seen him line up alongside some of the scenes most reputable names such as  DVS1, Zadig, Surgeon, Steve Bicknell, DJ Pete and James Ruskin. 

Fascinated by Techno and the coldness of electronic music, Benales has released several EP’s and remixes on Sino (Technasia Label), and notably “Elements part 1 & part 2” have marked his spot in the international scene. Over the years, he has also had several releases on outstanding labels such as  KEY Vinyl, Suburban Avenue, Analog Solutions, Knotweed  and Diffuse Reality, with many more to follow.

A lover of the Berlin culture of the 90's, Louis The 4th is a young project resulting from a strong need for expression mixed with a desire to share.

It is in his vinyl bins and around percussive rhythms with black atmospheres, that he builds his universe. Whether it is in his productions or on stage, Louis The 4th works in a hypnotic techno that carries his audience along.

At the head of the independent label Intra Records since the beginning of 2022, he is a young actor of the local scene, who already has many strings to his bow.
