Energy and fast rhythms with a flavor of industrial rave is what characterizes Lost in Europe. Filipe Marques had a taste for electronic music from very early on, but his initiation into the world of DJing and production came after he moved to Poland in 2017, it was then that he merged with the deep-rooted underground culture in the country. He participated in the organization of parties at Szpitalna 1, one of the most famous clubs in Krakow, where he met people already linked to this branch, thus obtaining the essential inspiration to start playing. After covid he went to Budapest, Hungary, where he started playing in clubs like Arzénal, Aether and Fabrika, where he was one of the organizers of a rave collective called Állomás. Also with some own productions performed by big names like I Hate Models, Goncalo M etc, he is always pushing the game with hard melodies. Originally from Braga, he has returned to the city and hopes to bring influences to the eastern raver scene, which will be present in a frenetic rhythm where dancing is mandatory.

Mateo Usach A.K.A. Dokker (@dokker_____) is a 23 year old young up-and-coming artist from Buenos Aires (Argentina). Dokker is the founder of the party series OVERFOCUS (@overfocus_arg) and creator of Revo Rec. (@revorecords.ar).

Mateo is inspired by the hypnotic side of Techno, in this set he presents versatility that cuts accross genres from Hardgroove, Fast forward, Tribal to Dub Techno. His sound is characterised by being loaded with groove and intensity.

He made his second release on Xelima Rec. (@xelimarecords) with his track "Uorden". He is currently working on a new EP that will feature Dub Techno and Hard Groove sounds.

Dokker is also the co-founder of Hyperlink (@hyperlink420) where he performs the HYPERSWING events, and his duo HOODED (@hooded___) where together with Gina Demarchi (@ginademarchi) they present their sound set in the groove of Berlin.

For our Higher Ground podcast, orti delivered a progressive set with a Post Punk vibe and genres including Acid, EBM, Upbeat and even Cumbia. Also, the set was recorded during his Mexico debut at Café 108 Mexico.

Hailing from the North East, Jamzi has started to make a name for himself in the Manchester scene and beyond through his energetic DJ sets and productions. He has played many parties across the north and continues to push his grooving sound.

The mix is an hour of full throttle, pumping groove made up mostly of unreleased tracks from himself & friends.

Expect more from the young producer in the near future with some bigger & exiting releases planned for late 2022 & early 2023.

Still exploring and finding records from the 90’s and early 2000’s, 1022 is inspired mostly but not solely by old school loopy patterns filled with raw, sharp drums and groovy percussion. These, backed by groovy basslines and lushy synth stabs which makes your hip shake. 

About the mix, 1022 says: 'Instead of keeping a constant stagnating energy level, I tried to play with different moods throughout the set. For that, I picked a few faster and harder hitting tracks to set a vibe which I think fits the ANTIDOTE event and podcast series.

Welcome to Drone Select. The place where talented Technominded heroes flourish.

FREEK ( @imafreek ) is an upcoming name in the Amsterdam techno scene. He has his roots in Germany and started his musical career in the south of the Netherlands in Maastricht and is now based in Amsterdam. He is best known for his funky and warm groovy sounds and also enjoys playing a wide range of other music such as glitchy and hypnotic techno. Regardless of what he is playing his sound can be described as driving and energizing with lots of high hats, claps and percussions. He is inspired by a lot of old school influence from techno of the 90‘s and early 2000‘s but also enjoys the productions of many modern day producers around the globe and in Amsterdam. With this mix he has brought us a range of deep and hypnotic sounds where he wants to show his not so warm and happy side and present his diversity in sound. We are excited to hear more from him in the future.

KUSS is a rising artist on the French techno scene, extremely promising and exciting. His musical productions cross a wide spectrum of genres and are distinguished by a groovy dominance tinged with mental and hypnotic elements of which he alone has the secret.

He produces with the same ease a racy, elegant and dancefloor techno but also explores other horizons such as ambient downtempo and even progressive rock within his project @derivative_of_the_unconscious. Both during his DJ sets and his lives, he never stops creating by daring experimentation and sound design while drawing inspiration from the life experiences he goes through and thus narrates.
