It’s WEEK 22 of The Disco Waltons Mix Sessions – and this week we’ve only gone and landed the bezzer himself Fingerman (aka Gregg Holmes)!
Hailing from Portsmouth, via Brighton and now firmly holding court in Belfast, Gregg’s a certified disco don. He’s the daddy behind Hot Digits Music (and vinyl offshoot Wax Digits) — a label responsible for more dancefloor weapons than your local dodgy Firestick dealer. Since the early days, he’s been chopping, looping, and reworking tunes with that signature touch — and his edits have been championed by the best in the biz.
Gregg’s a hardworking, top-shelf editor, producer, label boss, radio host, and all-round top geezer. Two hours is nowhere near enough — but it’s just the right amount of time for Fingerman to take us on a proper journey. Expect chunky mid-tempo rollers, slick reworks, nu-disco stompers, and groove-heavy edits that sneak up on you — BOOM — those classic tones that give you that nostalgic tickle right up the nostrils.

This week, I am really happy to welcome @lucky-sun to The Sunday Supplement 'Guest Mix Series' … ♥️

Lucky Sun (aka Tom Lown) is best known for his super deep productions which have been released on labels such as Lost My Dog, UM Records, Personal Belongings, Delve Deeper Records and his own Lucky Sun Recordings.  His first 2 albums ‘Olive Street’ and ‘Balance’ under his Lucky Sun moniker, were highly received by DJ Mag and a host of worldwide DJ’s. They featured collaborations with vocalists Alison David, Frank H Carter III and Deniz Reno. Some great support for this album came from DJ’s Hot Toddy, Rainer Trueby, Ashley Beedle, Marcia Carr, CJ Makintosh, Satoshi Fumi, Peter Kruder, Funky Foot, Colin Dale and reviews in The Yorkshire Times and 48 Hills (San Fran). 

‘Lucky Sun: Singles & Remixes’ album is set to be released in a couple of months. It includes collaborations with Jaidene Veda and Anna Ling, which have already had airplay on BBC Radio 1 by DJ S/A/M/ and Jazz FM. Look out for some Lucky Sun vinyl releases in 2026…

As a DJ, Tom has played in numerous clubs and parties in London including Plastic People and Coalesce, SubKulture in New York, Cala Bassa Beach Club in Ibiza, Club Macarena in Barcelona and currently enjoys a monthly residency at Dishoom Permitt Room playing an eclectic mix of vinyl. You can hear his monthly ‘Lucky Sun Radio Show’ on Bloop London Radio, 3rd Friday of the month 6-7pm exploring the deeper side of house music.

 Fran Deeper (Palma de Mallorca, Spain) is, without a doubt, one of the most important references of the House / Nu-Disco scene. He's the owner of the prestigious record label Spa in Disco, which has published more than 100 titles in digital format. Some of them have reached the number one position on the sales charts, while many others have been repeatedly featured in the Top 100 of the most important digital platforms like Junodownload, Beatport, or Traxsource.

His extensive musical career and Nu-Disco Underground with electronic touch style has opened him the doors to some of the most prestigious DJ booths all over the world: Madrid, Mexico City, Ibiza, Tulum, London, Guadalajara, Berlin, San Francisco, Marseille, Jakarta, Barcelona, Milan, Stockholm or Bali, to name a few. 

In all of them, he's shared the stage with some of the most important global representatives of the style like Pete Herbert, Rayko, Thomass Jackson, Ilya Santana, or Ray Mang, making him a veteran of the dance floors.
