For the 70th entry in our series, we welcome Space Drum Meditation, a duo renowned for their immersive sound journeys that blur the line between music and ritual. 

This set continues our exploration of sound, guided by rhythms and textures rooted in tradition. Their music takes inspiration from spiritual culture and the natural world: Ritualistic percussions, a breeze, and the call of animals, all woven into an experience that connects body and mind.

Basel’s Timnah joins our series with a long-anticipated recording from last year’s inaugural pe:rsona, an intimate gathering from the minds at Positive Education. Over the years Timnah has established a reputation for expansive and visionary selections without equal, lending her voice to the beloved Amentia and A Walking Contradiction collectives and leading audiences into captivating unknowns worldwide. Recorded live in the French countryside at the peak of summer, Timnah’s set smolders with delicate tension, lacing outward like tendrils upon shattering glass. I studied piano for many years but when I discovered disco music in the 80's I preferred to be a DJ rather than perform in classical music concerts. From 1982 to 1992 I made thousands of people dance in the best clubs in central Italy. From 1992 to today I make music because I am always looking for new sounds, rhythms and above all new ... emotions!
