Globalization, a controversial and widely debated phenomenon that presents itself with the burden of the biggest modern contradictions, a process that links ways of living and thinking on a large scale. And in this digital era this concept of connection is inevitably linked to the concept of information, where the information becomes knowledge of everyone, a common knowledge, a flow of exchanges where our dear privacy becomes public. But to what extent private barriers are abolished? To where the human being pushes himself, in the name of the global phenomenon? And so soon the internet world, a perfect scenario for “the sharing”, changes itself in a mass control system publicly unmasked thanks to the recent question of DATAGATE. “QWERTY” is born as a project of sound research that wants to draw the attention to the fact that, paradoxically, is the user himself, driven by a social need, who offers his data to the web using social networks, specific websites and mail.

Polvere is a Fieldrecording research made during the month of March 2014 directly addressed in the Expo Milano 2015 area. Of the five senses, hearing becomes the main protagonist deliberately, through which it's possible perceive the change of the urban fabric chosen.
The flow of noise, which invests and disorients the listener, is the creative basis for the realization of a rhythmic urban symphony.
The author goes through the yard, for the occasion becomes the perfect setting for his work.

Yalta is a composition that tells about the coastal soundscape of a former industrial area near the Pozzuoli sea gulf, very close to the now non-existent metallurgical factory of the ItalSider Group. In this area, the shoreline is composed of stones and blocks of waste material coming from the blast furnaces of the foundries, a material that solidified assumes the shape and the color of the cement. The sounds alteration caused by the waves that meet the jagged "cliff" represents the tonic of this musical survey . Here, the marine geo-sounds merge with the element created by the man. At the minute 3 of this composition we will hear a considerable sculpting of the sound message, because the listener chooses to move behind a block of "concrete" and stones where the obstacle deaden the waves bringing out the sound of a plane that flies over the area for the whole session. In this case we see an unexpected merger between geophonies and anthrophonies, finally completing the acoustic environment of the Yalta seafront.

So towards the sea, so exposed to domination, so coveted because of its geographical position, but equally open to welcome and assimilate new cultures, the extreme part of the "Puglia" region , the Salento peninsula , was for centuries the port of Italy, where historical events have influenced also on set of the fabric settlement , which has always had to deal with the needs of defense and with the urgent need to seal off the numerous assailants. Hence the presence of numerous works of fortifications that make Puglia and more particularly Salento a land of castles.
Even those who were used to seeing the spectacle of a castle , which rises from the sea , there would still be fascinated at the sight of the castle walls of Gallipoli , overlooking the Jonian Sea. It is almost completely surrounded by the sea and the building stands on the stage of a turreted and fortified citadel , the whole collection in a small island.

It's a composition that tells about sound propagation, of rubbing Salento stones, between Castel's walls.
These particular stone are called "Leccisu" and they are date back to the Miocene period.

Capri is a Soundscape composition that tells about a cave of Capri island coastline called "Grotta Dei Marinai".

The recording was made at the end of April 2015 with unusual weather. The authors,(Francesco&Dario) in the first part, decided to play a percussion called "Wood String Cajon" to analize the cave reverb, than they tried percussion brush. The second part is caracterized by a recording made inside the locker of the boat to analize a sound modified by a barrier between the source and the listner.
The Aim of this work is to melt Geophonies with Anthrophonies in a special Mediterranean location.
