Over the last year Crusy has undoubtably hit another sweet spot with his recent collaborations garnering widespread DJ support. With the massive Dombresky collab ‘Casablanca’, ‘Watch Out’ with Tony Romera and Low Steppa, and ‘Night Train’ with David Penn on heavy rotation throughout clubs around the globe, ‘Kiki’ is certainly set to follow suit, keeping the underground flavour with a strong focus on the groove, albeit with an infectious vocal that’s guaranteed to be a crowd favourite this summer. Paving the way for a series of new releases its unsurprising why Madrid’s finest is ranked one of the world’s top producers.

We’re big fans of Dario Pontecorvo, aka Draxx. As one of the first labels to release his turbocharged tech (his and CVMPANILE’s barn-storming remix of “Work”) we’ve been enjoying his rise through the ranks. Most people will know him from his huge Techengue jam “No No No” on Ultra, but our favourite is his big room masterpiece “Tomala (Se Mueve Se Siente)” (w/ Andruss). Here he joins forces with fellow Italian Dave Delly for a slick DJ friendly tech banger. “I’m a Freak,” the vocal announces, “I’m five foot nothing but nasty. All week, we keep it classy, but when the weekend comes we get trashy”. Add to this the kind of drums that will make any room jump and a moody Armand Van Helden style breakdown, and you have a stand-out club winner. As if that wasn’t enough, Draxx has included the super “Loca” as a B-side.

Nigel Hey - Bring The Funk Back [Hottrax]

A certified Defected classic, ‘Bad Habit’ by ATFC featuring Lisa Millett is remixed by Clüb De Combat.
