’As a DJ I have always enjoyed the discovery element of a live mix. I love experimenting with different styles, finding interesting cross rhythms and not knowing where I’ll end up when I start. This mix is a coming together of all the genres and feelings that have inspired me as a musician and as a dancer. House, garage, breakbeat, broken beat, techno, electro and R&B edits. As a child of the 90’s / Noughties, groove, rhythm and soul have always been integral to the music that I’m drawn to.’

A self-confessed Noisician, Paula Temple obliterated 2014 with ‘Deathvox’, her second monumental release for the legendary label R&S. Her debut ‘Colonized’ EP made one of biggest statements in 2013 for uncompromising techno, followed by remixes for avant-electronic acts The Knife, Perera Elsewhere and Planningtorock. Such refreshing high-voltage output has rapidly placed Paula Temple at the forefront of new techno.

Her performances in Detroit for the Movement festival were some of the most memorable of the weekend and are still being talked about by those lucky enough to witness them. She has graciously provided an hour(ish) of her set from the Underground stage at Movement 2015 for this episode of SUBterror Radio. Prepare for facemelting.
