I actually did finish OQV with the help of some very supportive loved ones. Thanks to Ben Bouchard for never quite giving up on the project, Chris Egner and Chris Wilcox for their wonderful contributions to the recording, Erik Tidman for breathing new life into the band, Michael Costello for seeing the potential in the band from the onset, Martha Andreas for being the most supportive mother of a grown man- child in western history and Danielle Pecor (the love of my life) for not only helping me through the difficult final push but for the moving album art she contributed. 

Finally, I want to give a special mention to Egan O'rourke - one of my greatest friends and rivals, for politely telling me to "put up or shut up". Also Egan was kind enough to mix this for me. You are forever a brother and an inspiration, constantly raising the watermark by which I judge my own work.

Oppenheimer Quoting Vishnu is the most difficult, problematic, and painful project I've ever taken on. We started tracking August of 2010 and the EP is still not complete. 

I still care about this project deeply, and I have to accept the possibility that it will never truly be complete. The Viticulture community borrows the phrase "Les Enfants Terribles" from the Jean Cocteau novel of the same name. For winemaking, the phrase means a particularly difficult harvest, grapes that almost could not yield product.

The songs on Oppenheimer Quoting Vishnu are my terrible children, my holy terrors. 

It features Chris Egner on Drums, Chris Wilcox on Keyboards, Ben Bouchard on guitar, and myself on guitar, vocals, and bass. 

For what little it's worth, I want to thank every member of Brave the Vertigo that's born witness to my punitive creative process:

Ben Bouchard, Michael Costello, Will Lunmah, Sean Cater, Chris Wilcox, Chris Egner, Jeremy Gardner . . . you guys are much more patient than I deserved.
