About the track -

“Down” is a track produced back in 2008, in Caracas, Venezuela, by Eduardo Alba and Edward A, pioneers of Electronic Music made in Venezuela.

Their genre, baptized as Hard Fusion, and which slogan is “LA FUSIÓN PESADA” ("The heavy fusion") comes from their interpretation of DJ Yirvin's sound, and could be catalogued as one of the subgenres of Venezuelan Electronic music. Hard Fusion is also the name of the crew formed by DJ Yirvin, Edward Alberto and Eduardo Alba AKA “Jesús El Coco”

Back in 2007, Eduardo Alba decided to start producing music using Fruity Loops. In his sound, the usage of Acid Pro is a prominent feature, and once he produced his first Hard Fusion track, he was recruited by DJ Yirvin and Edward A into their Crew.

Almost two decades after its creation, we bring you "Down" by Eduardo Alba and Edward A, as part of Maluko Records' VA entitled “Elegancia y Maldad”

Having ignited 2025's output with an EP from Philadelphia’s Shai FM, Vief now looks to the east coast for its second stateside import of the year. Seattle-based producer Fleksor serves up four dubstep and techno inspired cuts, guaranteed to bring even most the languid dancefloors to boiling point.
 
The release contains two mixes of the titular track Arroyo De Mercurio, both clocking in at a healthy 140bpm, and is rounded out by two downtempo additions brimming with acid and percussion.
