Second mix in the Serán Bendecidos series comes from Francisco Allendes.
A name known to many within the worlds of House and Techno, Francisco Allendes’ emergence as one of Ibiza’s most recognised names is certainly no coincidence. A core member of Loco Dice’s Serán Bendecidos family, Allendes’ history with Desolat lies deep after Dice noticed the Chilean and signed his ‘Animals’ EP’s back in 2013. Now four years, four Desolat EPs and two label samplers later, Allendes’ catalogue boasts releases on Cadenza, Snatch!, Kaluki and VIVa, whilst providing remixes for Do Not Sleep and Crosstown Rebels to name just a few.

Dice’s hip-hop influences pervade his music and bring an unparalleled energy into his sets. Guti’s musical talents are endless, with a background of performing in live bands and as a virtuoso jazz pianist. Francisco Allendes is a well-trained classical musician, Caleb Calloway’s influences are a melting pot of traditional Puerto Rican music blended with the modern sounds of Chicago and New York, and Yaya’s rich African/Italian musical flavours run deep in his blood. Every artist is encouraged to draw on their musical heritage and the influences that have shaped them so far whilst continually striving to push the boundaries of electronic music further. As the selection of DJs continue to play and grow together so too does their sound, and their individuality as artists will also be their unifying factor. Now more than ever, Loco Dice will continue to blur the borders between house and techno, with SERÁN BENDECIDOS events being a haven for the free-spirited and open-minded. This new collective reflects Dice's forward-thinking, motivating and innovative attitude which has allowed him to develop into the internationally-recognised artist he is today. Marking the beginning of a new chapter, the Desolat label continues to push the boundaries of what it means to be a brand in the electronic music world.

Francisco Allendes, Chilean DJ and producer now residing in Ibiza, is one of the hottest talents of the contemporary dance music scene. Active since early last decade, Allendes has grown over the years, releasing music for some of the most prestigious labels in the techno / house scene such as Desolat, Kaluki, VIVa Music, Cadenza, KMS, Sola, Snatch, Mood and Crosstown Rebels. Indeed Allendes has produced several hits of the tech and house scene - the most recognisable being Caligula, Llovizna, Agility Queen and Eres; His productions have been widely supported by some of the most influential DJs of our time with his sound shifting between synthetic house and techno grooves - always displaying flashes of organic rhythms and percussion.

As a touring artist Allendes has been omnipresent in his home country Chile at Dreambeach, Creamfields, Awakenings, Mysteryland and Love Parade Festivals as well as on the world circuit at major events such as Tomorrowland, Medusa, MMW, BPM, ANTS and Hyte to name but a few.  Francisco moved to Ibiza in 2010 and holds a residency at Ibiza´s biggest underground event “ANTS” at Ushuaïa, though he has played at several of the islands other superclubs. His continued love of the white isle and the events he plays there resulted in the accolade of best Ibiza DJ at the DJ awards in September 2019 – a prize that Allendes himself recognizes as one of the best moments of his career so far and a symbol of the island he feels has already given him so much.
