French duo Monoblok&PSLKTR return to the Meant label with a new EP. 

Yann Aubertot and Benoit Mascot AKA Monoblok&PSLKTR have been releasing left of centre, electronics for the past 5 years, racking up singles on imprints such as Notorious Elektro and Lebensfreude Records before finding a home with Remain’s Meant Records. 

We're premiering the electro funk b-side ‘Walking Disaster’. There's a remix from Arnaud Rebotini on the flip and the a-side Relapse comes with remixes from Meant frontman Remain and My Favouirte Robot.

Enigmatic duo of like-minded artists A Sacred Geometry (Berlin/Rome) recognize the importance of their visual identity, investing in it just as much as into their hand-crafted textured audio atmospheres, because they aim to tell a story.

The narrative begins with Chapter I – their first release of three noise and post-punk influenced pieces: mystical slow-burning “Atiya”, dream-like and melancholic “City Of Ys”, and the deep ambient Eastern-inspired “Maroush”. The cover art is based on Caravaggio’s The Madonna and Child with St. Anne, which is one of the mature religious works of the Italian Baroque master, painted in 1605-1606, and is undoubtedly a crucial puzzle piece to the story.

How will the plot unfold? Pay very close attention.

Premiere: A Sacred Geometry - "City of Ys"

Argentinian rising star Cumele makes his debut on Magnitude Recordings with the double A-side release 'Crunchy' / 'Voices In The Bass.' Showcasing his signature progressive house sound, Cumele delivers two tracks full of energy and depth, establishing him as a talent to watch. Fellow Argentinian Enryco Rigatti returns to the label with a remix of Voices In The Bass, adding his own dynamic touch to the release.

Founded in 2005 by Francesco Pico, Magnitude Recordings closes out a milestone year, celebrating its 20th anniversary with this final release of 2025, cementing its reputation for discovering and supporting innovative electronic music talent.

The brainchild of Harry Agius (aka producer Midland) and songwriter/vocalist collaborator Robbie Redway who met at Leeds Uni, it exists in the innovative cracks between genre boundaries. As much influenced by the rugged sound-system culture of nights like Leeds' Subdub as it is by François K's work with Depeche Mode or the widescreen electronica of Jon Hopkins.

‘Murmur’ is the second single taken from the forthcoming album, which is due out in 2016 on !K7. It was engineered in Berlin by production maestro and Kompakt staple Ewan Pearson, whose previous work with M83 and Ben Watt has earned him a revered reputation as an engineer and producer par excellence.

Darkroom Dubs follow up on their latest vinyl only project - Darkroom Dubs Edits by Skinnerbox - with a continued exploration into bridging post-punk and techno. This time with a new release from a rising star in Paris' blossoming underground - Parisian producer, promoter and DJ Id!r. 

Clint kicks things off with darting vocoder stabs and reverberated drum whacks that build a rich sense of space. A steadily punching Disco clap and distant, eerie melodies add intrigue before swelling, filtered synth tones suffuse the tracks distinctly 80s tinged track. Monday then melds sharp percussion with trippy, delayed signals and bold, marching synth lines that sit the track comfortably in big room spaces.

No Dust In Vain drives a purposeful thud through menacing guitar plucks and horror-movie vocals as tension churns throughout. Manual Music affiliate Sigward then follows up with his interpretation of Monday as he balances brash, thundering stabs against soft, mournful sweeps bringing a rich and varied package to a close and tying up another coup for a bonafide label with over 13 years experience in the game.
