Wavelet is the aka under which the Valencian DJ Mário Ortega hides. He is characterised for being a faithful defender and activist of Electro in all its aspects (having a special interest in combining this style with styles such as IDM) as well as vinyl format.

His interest in electronic music began in the 90's influenced by the sound of labels such as Warp, Skam, Direct Beat or Electron Industries. Later it was labels like Touchin`Bass, Ai Records or SCSI-AV that were carving his style as a DJ until 2013 when he finally decided to take the leap to the decks.

His career has always been largely linked to the Valencian collective Hypnotica Colectiva (HC), being a member of the radio platform "Electronic Café Radio" for three years and being organized and resident of the HC We Are The Robots (W.A.T.R) parties from 2014 to the present.

On the other hand, since 2014, it is common to find Wavelet in the booths of some of the main clubs in the city of Valencia leading him to share the bill with artists such as ADJ, Carl Finlow, Boris Divider or Umwelt among others.

He currently runs with Sigma_Algebra the label Tensor Norm, whose second vinyl release was released at the end of this year (see bit.ly/3KImm3s for more information).

For the second installment of my radio show 'the infinite fragmented soundwaves of oXane' I invited the great DVS NME for a guest mix. An honor! Get into his hour of massive electro.

@DVSNME is an Electro music producer/deejay and Post-Punk enthusiast living in Colorado. He runs a daily blog called @DarkScienceElectro which features news, live sets, guest mixes, upcoming shows, and throwbacks, as well as a weekly podcast that publishes every Friday on Soundcloud. The weekly radio show has aired since 2010 and was previously broadcasted on Illegal Connection Radio, Buenos Aires Sound System, and Intergalactic FM every Friday at 20:00 GMT.

He is also an accomplished and prolific Electro music producer. With production techniques ranging from software to hardware and everything in between, and spanning a multitude of genres, he has been producing music since 2000. He has collaborated with the likes of Franck Kartell, Das Muster, MetaComplex, Koova, Faceless Mind, Komarken Electronics, Deemphasis, and more. He is an artist representing Transient Force, Solar One Music, Blind Allies, Pulse Drift Recordings, Ukonx Recordings, Mosaique Records, Fanzine, and more.
