This is the song for the intro cutscene. The goal was to make an Anime style opening in the same vein as japanese PS1 games, such as Rockman X4.

More music from the movie "Piedra Noche" (Dusk Stone), directed by Iván Fund. I composed this score back in 2020 and was able to have it recorded by a live orchestra in Buenos Aires. I'm extremely happy with the overall result.

The movie had its first run in theaters early this year in Argentina. Hopefully it will be available worldwide soon for you all to see. For now, here's a trailer:

Gunpoint - 'Round Gunpoint

A little preview of the music I'm composing for After Death: a Metroid-Vania game made by French developers "Vince" and "Yo".

The music is inspired by the good old 16bit Snes and Genesis chiptunes, along with a more modern instrumentation, plus plenty of Lo-Fi synths. ;)

I was finally able to do music for a Demoscene demo! Talented Chilean coder Bitnenfer invited me to make a Gameboy track for his submission to Oldskool compo on Revision Party 2020. It was tough to deal with the clunky interface of Carillon tracker, but I'm quite happy with the overal results. 

We were nominated for the compo among several other impressive demos, so I kind of fulfill a life dream with this one :)

Baka Mitai (Lo-fi Chiptune remix)

Francisco Cerda is a pianist and composer born in Chile. He started composing music for videogames when he was 14 years old, when he created the soundtrack for a shmup game that he also programmed himself. 

As a videogame composer, his work can be heard across several acclaimed videogames such as Jamestown, Gunpoint, Save The Date!, Witchmarsh, Frog Fractions 2, After Death, Protocorgi, Omen of Sorrow and The Punchuin.

In recent years, Francisco has been involved in making music for advertising for several brands and business. He composed and produced the musical branding of TVN (Chile’s main public TV network), and also scored the awarded Argentinean film “Dusk Stone”.
