Take your Soul Beyond Gravity ✨  Kolibri Live LP is the debut album of PETRU KSS, conceived as a voyage from nature to space and recorded live in the wilderness of Corsica. This second chapter – Kolibri Live Part 2 – unveils two closing tracks and their outstanding reinterpretations.

Ordelion surges with hypnotic acid drive and melodic depth, pushing the journey towards its peak. Landing brings resolution with atmospheric tone and hopeful freshness – as clarity and light emerge from the chaos.

Arnaud Le Texier reshapes Ordelion with raw Berlin grit, Tobias. twists it into a trippy breakbeat journey, and Joton reimagines Landing in gritty techno and Detroit-flavoured breakbeat forms.

Ahead of the full album landing in Q1 2026, a remix contest will begin on 17 December in collaboration with Novation, Dreadbox, Genki Instruments and Audiorealism.

Bio

PETRU is a Corsican-born producer and live performer with a love for bold, driving techno and storytelling. Blending rhythmic precision with a strong sense of narrative and contrast, his music evokes both physical intensity and cinematic depth.

Rooted in hands-on, expressive, hardware-centric production, PETRU was awarded the Richie Hawtin PhD Scholarship in Electronic Music for his ongoing research project THRiPPS – Techno, Hardware-centric, Real-time, Improvisation, Production and Performance Study, which explores live, improvisational performance practices.

After drawing attention with his debut KSS EP and then Mediocracy on Kolibri Space Shuttle Records, PETRU released Mirage and Drifting Embers on long-standing UK label City Wall Records. His well-received EPs featured remixes from established producers such as Alexander Kowalski, Developer, Ryan Davis and An On Bast. His upcoming debut album, Kolibri Live LP, marks an important milestone: a cinematic and immersive voyage from nature to space, recorded live in the wilderness of Corsica, with growing support from respected figures across the scene.
