A rainy Monday morning in the Tankwa Desert, The 50 odd people that were there - you were all the crowd we needed. One of the best times i've had in the Tankwa (And there has been a few). Unfortunately the recording app bonked out so we only have 80 odd minutes of a 2-hour set. It will have to do for now. 
Once again thanks to all you legends out there in the storm of a century. Was really special.

This is my very first mixtape — a soulful ride through house grooves and spacey feels. After many magical DJ nights in Paris and growing requests for mixtape, I finally recorded this mix. Over the past year, DJing has become one of my favorite forms of expression. I cherish those shared moments of energy on the dance floor.

@algy-strutt 's "Glastonbury 2017 Re-Fix" of "Miracle 2" is a custom rework of his "Seen The Light Mix", originally released on Buddhist Army Records (Brooklyn), prepared especially for his set at The Rabbit Hole's Funkingham Palace, Glastonbury 2017!

Arthur's Landing is an ongoing project led by singer/guitarist Steven Hall. The morphing line-up explores Arthur Russell's Buddhist songs through performance and recording with a view to maintaining key elements like childish improvisation and groove. The latest incarnation features Paddy Boom (drums) and Carlitos Hernandez (bass/gtr) with vocals by Steven Hall/Andrea Hall/Marcus Huffman/Soliterre.

"Miracle 2" is the second incarnation of the classic dance floor anthem "In The Light Of A Miracle," co-written by Arthur Russell and Elodie Lauten. "Miracle 2" is a completely new arrangement written and performed by Elodie herself and released on Arthur's Landing's debut album on Strut Records  UK.

Arthur's Landing - Miracle 2(Strutt's All-In Glastonbury Re-Fix)

This is an hour of some songs that I thought might sound nice together — it's also the first time I'm sharing a recorded set. Songs with words that are a little bit softer. Go gently.

1 — Softer Songs With Words

A jack of all trades and a master of fun - Faffa's love for music was sparked at the age of 12 while learning to play the guitar and drums in his mother's studio. 

An Engineer by day and a DJ/Producer, often also by day, his journey into the world of electronic music began alongside his best friend as they formed the collaborative project called "Father." From their base in Stellenbosch, the duo rapidly made its way into all the nooks and crannies of the South African electronic music scene, where he has performed at multiple festivals, clubs, and bars.

He believes the beauty of electronic music lies in the vast diversity and endless possibilities, allowing artists to ignore conventional beliefs that conform them to becoming monotonous. Despite loving "nearly" all forms of electronic music, he has developed a signature Disco Tech, Indie Dance sound that draws inspiration from early disco records retrofitted with dreamy synth stabs and rolling basslines.

"Joy shared is multiplied" - R.A Salvatore. When you spot Faffa's name on a lineup, you can expect an emphasis on connectedness and intimacy with the crowd. Legend has it; he's even been found on the wrong side of the stage during his own set, don't tell the promoter.
