Zespół Fair Weather Friends powstał na początku 2011 roku w Czeladzi. Nasza twórczość inspirowana jest współczesną elektroniką i muzyką taneczną lat 70 i 80. Obecnie występujemy jako kwartet: Maciek Bywalec - perkusja, pady perkusyjne; Paweł Cyz - gitara basowa, instrumenty klawiszowe, Mateusz Zegan - gitara, fx, produkcja, Michał Maślak - głos, teksty, gitara.

 Kilka koncertów w pełnym składzie wystarczyło, by pozyskać sponsorów naszego pierwszego wydawnictwa (mecenat Fundacji dla Młodych i UM w Czeladzi). EP „Eclectic Pixels” - wyprodukowana w chorzowskim SoundHouse Studio - zawiera 4 utwory:

Fair Weather Friends - Fortune Player (Eclectic Pixels EP)

This soundtrack is the musical part of a short-film project executed for a campaign, lead by Create Refresh, against Article 13 of the proposed Directive for Copyright in the Digital Single Market in UE. 
"Gaetano e Umberto", under the form of docu-fiction, aims to make an original creation from a pre-existing audio/video content, by giving a storyline to theses images, acompanied by a one hundred percent sample-based soundtrack.

Cette bande-originale constitue la partie musicale d'un projet de court -métrage réalisé dans le cadre d'une campagne, menée par Create Refresh, contre l'article 13 de la directive européenne sur le droit d'auteur dans le marché unique numérique. 
"Gaetano e Umberto", sous la forme d'un docu-fiction, a pour but de faire émerger une création originale à partir d'un contenu audio/vidéo intégralement préexistant; en attribuant une dimension scénaristique à des images en étant initialement dépourvues, accompagnées d'une bande-son exclusivement composée de samples.

Questa colonna sonora costituisce la parte musicale di un  cortometraggio. Un progetto realizzato nell'ambito di una campagna, portata avanti da Create  Refresh, contro l'articolo 13 della direttiva europea sul diritto d'autore nel mercato unico del digitale. ''Gaetano e Umberto'' ha come obiettivo di far emergere una creazione originale partendo da un contenuto audio/video interamente preesistente, attribuendo una dimensione scenica  a  delle immagini che ne erano inizialmente prive. Il tutto accompagnato da una colonna sonora composta esclusivamente di campionature.

This mix is to lift you up, fightin' against the chaotic virus situation. 
I played this soulful set two weeks ago at Discosurf(authentic music bar in Seoul), thought i was playin' mo' of chill out sound, but turned to be really upliftin', made ppl dancin' at the end. 
As body and soul connected, i hope this set make u happier and stronger.

It starts gentle, rhythm highlighted, then evolves to mo' colorful melodies.
If you don't like this starting vibe, you can jump into the middle, but I guarantee you would be very excited and uplifted as you just play from the start all the way to end.
