Este tema lo tenia listo de hace bastante tiempo (el tema esta compuesto desde abril xd), y tenia planeado publicarlo en mayo de este año (que era el mes donde supuestamente el juego cumplia 30 años desde su lanzamiento) pero me tarde en hacer la portada del cover y despues me dio paja avanzar en la misma y de ahi el retraso. despues de terminar la portada me quise concentrar en hacer el video del tema, pero mi computador no es muy potente asi que se me hizo muy dificil editar un video (mas que nada por la lentitud del editor), y cuando termine de hacer el video no me gustó por muchas razones que no quiero detallar, asi que lo termine borrando. despues hice otro video pero con un editor que se ocupa desde Google Chrome (osea que no hay necesidad de bajar aplicaciones). A diferencia del otro editor que tenia, corria muy bien y era muy facil editar el video con este nuevo programa, pero me dejó una marca de agua, aunque no es muy molesta. Pido disculpas por la tardanza

En fin, dejando de lado mi flojera, para los que no saben, estan escuchando el tema del nivel 1 del juego Sorcer Striker, el cual tiene como nombre Sorcer Striker XDD. Para la portada del cover se me ocurrio replicar el sprite de mi nave favorita del juego (Chitta) y cambiarle un poco los colores en comparacion a los que tiene en el juego (no son muy diferentes pero tampoco son los mismos), despues se me ocurrio hacer un par de estrellas, brillitos y rayas en el fondo en base a los colores de la nave, y por ultimo puse un """listón""" que dice 30 para conmemorar el 30 aniversario del juego. Y bueno creo que ya no me quedan mas cosas por explicar (tal vez agregue mas cosas mas tarde (tal vez)), espero que lo disfruten :3

I had this cover ready since a long time ago (the cover is composed since april xd), and I had planned to publish it in may of this year (that was the month where the game was supposed to be 30 years since its release) but I was late in making the illustration of the cover and then I was too late to advance in it and that's why the delay. After finishing the cover I wanted to concentrate on making the video of the cover, but my computer is not very powerful so it was very difficult to edit a video (mostly because of the slowness of the editor), and when I finished making the video I didn't like it for many reasons that I don't want to detail, so I ended up deleting it. Then I made another video but with an editor that works from Google Chrome (so there is no need to download applications or programs). Unlike the other editor I had, it ran very well and it was very easy to edit the video with this new program, but it left a watermark, although it is not very annoying. I apologize for the delay.

Anyway, leaving aside my laziness, for those who don't know, you are listening to the level 1 theme of the game Sorcer Striker, which is called Sorcer Striker XDD. For the illustration of the cover I thought to replicate the sprite of my favorite ship of the game (Chitta) and change a little the colors compared to the ones in the game (they are not very different but they are not the same), then I thought to make a couple of stars, glitter and stripes in the background based on the colors of the ship, and finally I put a """ribbon""" that says 30 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the game. And well I think I have no more things to explain (maybe I'll add more things later (maybe)), I hope you enjoy it :3

As some of you may know, I joined to the Battle of the Bits a couple of months ago, and the truth is that so far I really like the site, the battles are quite entertaining and it has motivated me to make my own songs, like this one you are listening to.

Now, as some of you may be noticing, this version is different from the one I uploaded to compete in Battle of the Bits, and this is because at the beginning I didn't know much about the files that were allowed to upload to compete, and therefore the first thing I did when I knew about the FAMICOM GRANDPRIX, was to consult in the discord of the site regarding some doubts I had (such as knowing if there was going to enter any category that could make music with VRC6), and after that I proceeded to make the song. .... in Furnace (a new tracker that I'm learning to use). The problem was that I didn't know that to compete in this format, only nsf files (Nintendo Sound File?) were allowed, so the Furnace version soon became obsolete for this battle and I had to recreate the song in 0CC-Famitracker, where I had several problems not being able to create the original effects or instruments that the song had in its first version. I was forced to change the instrument that would carry the main melody because if I tried to replicate it in 0CC-Famitracker it sounded very ugly, so I had to settle for a more basic instrument. Besides that, I don't know if it's just me, but I feel that the BPM of the BotB version is kind of out of sync? like it's not constant.

But well leaving all this little problem aside, at least now you can listen to the original version here. I hope you enjoy listening to this song :D

[PS: the other reason why I took so long was because I was looking for a new program to make videos and record the Tracker, since ShotCut runs horrible on my notebook skjds]

Esta cancion esta fuertemente inspirado en las composiciones de que se encuentran en Valkyrie Profile [Motoi Sakuraba] (Uno de mis juegos favoritos de todos los tiempos junto con uno de los mejores compositores que mis oidos han podido escuchar sjkdnskjd). La compuse como si fuera para algun jefe secreto o superboss de algun rpg (o tal vez solo para un jefe comun y corriente xd). La intro esta muy inspirada en la intro de las batallas de The 7th Saga (un juego que aun no he podido completar). A pesar de todo, este tema no me gusta tanto, siento que le falta algo, aunque ya no puedo agregar nada ya que ocupe todos los canales que tenia a mis disposición, tratare de no usar tantos canales para marcar los acordes la proxima vez :p

This song is heavily inspired by the compositions found in Valkyrie Profile [Motoi Sakuraba] (One of my favorite games of all time along with one of the best composers my ears have ever heard sjkdnskjd). I composed it as if it was for some secret boss or superboss of some rpg (or maybe just for an ordinary boss xd). The intro is very inspired by the intro of The 7th Saga battles (a game I haven't been able to complete yet). Despite everything, I don't like this theme so much, I feel that it lacks something, although I can't add anything since I used all the channels I had at my disposal, I'll try not to use so many channels to mark the chords next time :p
I don't know what else to say xd maybe I'll add something later.

He tenido dos ocasiones en donde he llegado a perder un par de canciones que estaba haciendo, la primera fue por ahí en 2022 cuando perdí los datos de mi disco duro por culpa de una castaña xdddd, y la segunda fue mas o menos como en noviembre de 2023 donde estaba borrando varios archivos de mis canciones y los dejaba en unas carpetas mas organizadas. la cosa es que luego de ordenar todo, vacié la papelera, solo para encontrar que en la carpeta de esta canción solo se encontraba el archivo mp3 (cosa que en ese entonces la canción estaba bastante incompleta), y no el archivo ftm sjkdnskd. hice varios intentos de rehacer la canción pero nunca quede satisfecho... hasta ahora que hice esta versión que están escuchando. 

A pesar de todo, siento que esta canción pudo haber quedado un poco mejor si la hubiera retocado un poco mas, aunque en ese entonces no había mucho tiempo que perder, o era hacerle los retoques o era entrar a competir. Al final justo el día que lo subí terminaron extendiendo la fecha de subida XDDD pero como ya lo había subido no podía hacer nada... hay partes donde siento que la progresión de acordes es un poco rara, además de otras partes donde a la melodía principal le  tuve que cambiarle un par de efectos que tenia para que no sonaran muy fuera de tono(?)... pero fuera de eso igual me gusto la canción, además de que estoy feliz que haya podido incluir una melodía que siempre me gustaba tocar en el piano cuando era chico. Nose que mas decir xd

I've had two occasions where I've lost a couple of songs I was doing, the first was around 2022 when I lost the data on my hard drive because of a chestnut xdddddd, and the second was around November 2023 where I was deleting several files of my songs and left them in some more organized folders. the thing is that after sorting everything, I emptied the trash, only to find that in the folder of this song was only the mp3 file (which at that time the song was quite incomplete), and not the ftm file sjkdnskd. I made several attempts to remake the song but I was never satisfied... until now that I made this version that you are listening to.

In spite of everything, I feel that this song could have been a little better if I had retouched it a little more, although at that time there wasn't much time to lose, either I had to do the retouching or I had to compete. In the end just the day I uploaded it they ended up extending the upload date XDDD but as I had already uploaded it I couldn't do anything... There are parts where I feel that the chord progression is a bit weird, plus other parts where the main melody I had to change a couple of effects I had so they wouldn't sound too out of tune(?)... but other than that I still liked the song, plus I'm happy that I could include a melody that I always liked to play on the piano when I was a kid. I don't know what else to say xd

Hace dos dias se publico la Bunbunmaru Extra No.17, en la cual participe con este cover del tema de Kikyou de Touhou Infinite Blade Pavilion, el cual esta compuesto por Wanwan.

Siendo muy honesto, crei que no iba a aparecer por el hecho de que la cancion era de estilo Chiptune, y en la Bunbunmaru solo he visto artistas que en su mayoria participan con canciones que tienen el estilo/instrumentos de touhou. La verdad me lleve una gran sorpresa, y no solo por mi aparicion, sino por el evento completo que estuvo lleno de trabajos muy buenos como fanarts, cosplays, canciones, mangas, traducciones, juegos y mas. Realmente al ver tantos trabajos buenos reunidos en un solo lugar me lleno de mucha inspiracion, y me senti muy feliz al ver todo el apoyo que recibia cada uno de estos trabajos.

No tengo muchas mas cosas que decir, ademas que siento que si hablo mas de esto voy a estar repitiendo las mismas palabras una y otra vez xddd

Pero el punto es que quede muy contento y ha sido una forma muy bonita de cerrar este año

Saliendo un poco del tema, realmente adoro a Wanwan y sus composiciones, son muy energicas y gozan de melodias muy pegadizas, espero que en un futuro le pueda hacer un cover al tema de Horou de Hollow Song of Birds: Golden Hymn ~ Ibis Trismegistus, pero ya veremos (se ve un pelin complicada xd)

Being very honest, I thought I wasn't going to appear because the song was a Chiptune style song, and in the Bunbunmaru I've only seen artists that participate with songs that have the style/instruments of touhou. I was really surprised, and not only for my appearance, but for the whole event that was full of very good works such as fanarts, cosplays, songs, manga, translations, games and more. Really seeing so many good works gathered in one place filled me with a lot of inspiration, and I was very happy to see all the support that each of these works received.

I don't have much more to say, besides I feel that if I talk more about this I'll be repeating the same words over and over again xddd

But the point is that I am very happy and it has been a very nice way to close this year.

Going off topic, I really love Wanwan and his compositions, they are very energetic and have very catchy melodies, I hope in the future I can cover Horou's song from Hollow Song of Birds: Golden Hymn ~ Ibis Trismegistus, but we'll see (looks pretty complicated xd)

Como lo dije en BotB, este tema esta muy inspirado en Revolutionary Girl Utena y en Kenji Ito. El tema lo hice pensando en que sonaria en estas peleas con jefes que son importantes en la trama (algo asi como los siete heroes de Romancing SaGa 2, o los cuatro demonios de Final Fantasy 1).

En el sitio intente contextualizar la cancion con una historia que tenia en mente para dicha cancion, pero no queria alargar tanto los comentarios en el sitio y trate de resumirla, pero siento que no se entiende nada de lo que digo xdd tal vez algun dia pueda explicar esta historia con mas calma c:

As I said in BotB, this song is heavily inspired by Revolutionary Girl Utena and Kenji Ito. I wrote it with the idea that it would be used in boss battles that are important to the plot (something like the seven heroes of Romancing SaGa 2, or the four fiends of Final Fantasy 1).

On the site, I tried to contextualize the song with a story I had in mind for it, but I didn't want to make the comments on the site too long, so I tried to summarize it, but I feel like nothing I say makes any sense xdd Maybe someday I can explain this story more calmly c:
