this track is old fashioned synth music, simple and melodic, slightly spacey. I wanted to something like an old jean Michel jarre record. this gave me the chance to use a great big old farfisa organ ive had for years for chords and using the bass pedals for bass. also used the ehx crash pad a lot on this. for some reason it makes me think of british seaside and fish and chips.

with this one I wanted something more upbeat as the end of an album side. makes me think of some theme tune from some 80s tv show or something. managed to use only analogue instruments on this one, after starting out wanting to do an all analogue album.

in September 2015 I started an album. side 1 was called names are for slaves and side 2 was called hibernation. hibernation is a medly of tunes that run into each other without gaps between the songs. this is part 2 and 3 from that medly

this is 2 tracks recorded as one Cubase project. welcome to 40 is an old tune I had forgot about until a couple of months ago when I suddenly had this tune stuck in my head. phoenix is a space synth type of thing named after the phoenix synth in korg gadget that I originally jammed the tune on when I first came up with it

i started out listening to old synth music and watching art of landscape and wanted to do my own music. finally got my own bedroom studio setup (15 years after everyone else did). I don't know if my style of music has a name. mostly instrumental, melodic and mostly done on synths.
