This might quite possibly be my favorite track on the EP. 

I woke up in the middle of the night, thinking to myself that "Discovery" would be a suitable name for my EP. However, when I started working on ideas for the title track, nothing seemed to quite work out. So I decided to challenge myself and sample something in my kitchen and turn it into a pluck. I ended up filling a cognac glass with water, until it sounded somewhat close to a B note, and then hit it with a mallet. This is what I ended up using as a starting point for "Discovery".

'Shallow Water' was the first track of the EP that I wrote, and holds together the whole EP, conceptually. The song is a metaphor for seemingly apparent things not being what they seem.

Being one of the earlier tracks of the album I wrote, "Tell Me" has elements that remind of my songs "Violets & Roses" and "Euphoria". 

Sometimes I have flashbacks to conversations I have had with people in the past, and I keep remembering certain phrases over and over again. "Tell Me" was one of the phrases that stuck to my mind, so I just had to turn that specific memory into a track.
