"I got my idea to messenger track while riding my bike in the urban streets during the quarantine. The streets were empty but messengers being in a hurry to their destination.
The second track Nothing to hide was inspired by Chris Liebing's 'Burn Slow' album, it has a deep and hypnotic atmosphere."

CMD aka Corina MacDonald is a Montreal-based DJ, producer and host of the program Modular Systems on CKUT 90.3 FM. She has released on JACKTONE, EXPERIMENTAL HOUSEWIFE’S PERFECT LOCATION RECORDS, FUR TRADE RECORDINGS, and BASIC_SOUNDS. For her vinyl debut, “Social Factory Reset”, she brings us four entrancing, slightly dubby and acidic techno dance floor cuts perfect for the smooth edges of the late night.

The A-side opens up with the title track “Social Factory Reset”, modular jacking techno with an infectious acid swell and patient pads. “Shaping Inner Space” is an apt title. The tempo is slightly faster than A1, and it sounds like an extraterrestrial night out. Euphoric synth twists bring in the break while the bass drum toys with the rhythm only to zap it back home with the force of cosmic gravity.

“Dream-Life Cycles” opens up the B-side tough, with an acid line and bass drum syncopation sure to bring out the stomp. Modular tweets fire off in stereo; lush pads bring in the harmony; and a nuanced and pleasantly surprising vocal line brings the euphoria on home. “Body Locked” closes the EP with an athletic, cosmic techno track that doesn’t shy away from the trance palette. Step out of your body and onto the dance floor!

Christian Smith is back with his last release of the year! He delivered two-party tracks the way we have gotten used from him over the years. 'Bon Voyage' has an infectious arpeggio and a loud filtered siren that always delivers the goods. In 'Movement' Christian fought his inner demons. Usually always shying away from snare rolls as they feel 'too easy' for Christian's taste, he decided to build an entire track around snare rolls. Added a cool 'Movement' vocal and we have another floor rocker!

Markantonio’s Label AnalyticTrail continues with the Black Series for the third time featuring three RAW techno tunes from Drumsauw, Lerio Corrado and Beck And Rius.

Beck and Rius, Drumsauw and Lerio corrado have released on the imprint before.
Lerio has been a regular feature on AnalyticTrail with Solo EPs and also collaborations with the boss Markantonio. He boasts a large catalogue with appearance on Second State, Filth on Acid, Intec and Tronic.
Joseph Sutherland AKA Drumsauw made his appearance on AnalyticTrail from the past Black Series with his Solo EP called “The Voice”. He has been rocking the scene with his techno since 2017 releasing on the likes of Planet Rhythm, Orange Recordings, Reload and Unity Records.
The German duo Beck and Rius as well have a very rich catalog with releases on the likes of Terminal M, Phobiq, Gain Records and many more.

Opening the release is Drumsauw track called ‘Unhinged’ which has a ferocious energy, groovy percussions and sinister atmosphere. Lerio Corrado with his track ‘Monday’ gives the release a classic mood Beck and rius close the release with the track ‘Intraplanetary’ with massive synth sound, heavy grooves and dancing rythms.

Frank Pellegrino, born and raised in New York, has been DJing since 1999 and has rocked the main dance floors of legendary NYC nightclubs such as Exit, Roxy, Limelight and Sound Factory, to name a few. He’s also played for crowds abroad in South America and Europe. Frank started remixing/producing music in the early 2000’s and has released tracks on well known labels including Unity Records, Stereo Productions and Magna Recordings. In 2006, Frank’s remix of Jessica Simpson’s “A Public Affair” on Sony Music landed him #1 on the dance Billboard charts. In 2010, Frank stepped away from the music industry to pursue other things. However, in 2020 Frank decided to return to the industry and is back in full force. Over the years, his productions have gained the support of artists including Carl Cox, D-Unity, Chus & Ceballos, DJ Boris, Carlos Manaça, and countless others. His underground techno sound is infused with hard hitting tribal drums, groovy bass lines and sexy vocals.
