So Alone

I am an experienced professional professional musician. I am still very active with my music career. My story is so long and full of twists and turns, near death experience’s, amazing musicians and more that I can’t really tell you all my whole story. I am going to give you some highlights. Enough that you will get to know about me and who I am.

And on that note, I have a 2013 album titled, "Who I Am," which continues to sell. I sold out of my third shipment quite some time ago. The title track recently ( 2 months ago) became my most downloaded and listened to song. Seven years later people are still listening. I am shocked. An album that came out of demo recordings. 

The story behind this album is my wife has agreed to pay for me to go into a professional studio with an engineer who has worked with Greg Allman, Phil Collins, and Faith Hill. to do a three song demo. I see this as a shot to get a little more than a demo out of my time in this studio.  I practiced and practiced the songs I wanted to become an album. Hoping to move quickly enough to get, at least, more than 3 songs. I had 7 by the end of that first session. At this point I say, "3 more songs and we have an album." They both were turned on enough by what we had done that they easily agreed. This was October of 2012.  

As if this already wasn't miraculous enough,  in early 2013 a record label picks up this album and starts promoting me. There was a commercial that ran on DISH network, which I own. It's useless now as the label no longer exists. Father and son are in prison and I am owed a nice chunk of change that I am not counting on seeing anytime soon. There's a lawsuit that's been happening for a few years now. 

This was recorded demo style versus album style. I have sold out of the third shipment quite some time ago. They sell at live shows mostly. I am considering doing a fourth round as long as there are still people buying CD's. I like giving fans that option. If I could afford to I would offer vinyl for the fans of that awesome analog sound I grew up with, scratches and all. Great days!

The story of this album also tells about me. My work ethic, which drives some "musicians" away while attracting others. My passion for music. Music likely saved my life. Another story for another time. Maybe over dinner and a drink. 
Music is powerful medicine for this Covid World we are living in. This too shall pass. We can ride this out together and music can help give us some relief from the Covid grind. With Love
