"MOMENTS OF LUV!" ~ FOR MY MUSICAL!

Was invited to do a song at IKABOD'S LOUNGE in Vegas, Dec 18, 2019. I chose this one. This is a song I wrote commemorating and celebrating looking for and finding that special place we all seek ~ That special place of communion with another ~ Ourselves ~ Be it a heart ~ In a heart ~ Or an actual physical place "Somewhere Sweet" ~  But it is always sacred ~ Found by few ~ Or only in moments special ~ With ourselves or another ~ I hope you find your place somewhere sweet ~ Incidentally, I once played this song on the piano Elvis loved to play in STUDIO B in Nashville where he recorded a lot. And he would play piano & sing gospel songs with his pals on into the night after the day of recording was done. I played this song ope that piano too. Gets around some, this tune. A special place that was too. Never know where what you create will land! Hope you like the rendition of the tune here.

...a song about staying true to yourself and not choosing between what is truly 'you' and what is 'not you', as in not choosing between the 'song and you' metaphorically & literally expressed in the song ~ 'Your song' could be 'anything' that is 'truly you' in a poetic sense ~ if that makes ANY sense... from this poet guy ~ Enjoy with a click on the pic or title... :):) HAVE A FINE DAY :) Be you Be true To THAT YOU that is YOU :) Many blessings to all...  :) Funny thing. When recording this, the phone rang and of course was picked up in my mic... I left it in the track and incorporated it into the song and its 'lyric of the moment'. More Magic of the Universe. Answer that phone... :) & know that when we write... do what we do... create... we never know when the magic will happen... Hear that phone when it rings for you...

In honour of my eldest granddaughter's 16th birthday today, November 25, 2018. Here is a song I wrote for her during her first year :) , and she has grown to become a fine, fine skater and dancer!!! Congrats, Jaidyn. Oh... the purplish blanket on my piano under elephant picture frame is one she brought back from India for me.
