This is the last one and was also recorded in 1986 in two takes, first one to record the instruments and the second one to add vocals and some details.
This was still in the eighties and digital audio recording was still a far away dream, so please people, give me some slack here. 
So it was produced, mixed and recorded on my beloved NAKAMICHI and I used top of the line Pioneer deck to replay the instrument track.
Just like the other three tracks in the Groove Inc list.

This is 'Set Us Free', one of the songs I always liked to play on stage with 'Zion Grooves', a Dutch reggae band in the early nineteens. Mainly because this song always kicked ass and we put it on top of every playlist. 
You know? Just to get things started. Just to make the audience stop talking to each other and instead turn their attention to our live music and start enjoying themselves on the dance floor.

Tarzan And Janie (Sitting In A Tree...)

This is another eighties-attempt of me to produce a so-called audio painting. Only of course to show-off my newly bought Roland U220, the world's first affordable 16bit/48kHz quality sample-player. A device with which Mister Roland has set the standard for all future sample players in user-friendliness, sample quality and overall concept. 
I bought this unit unheard and untried in 1985 or so, right after it got launched. Purely based on it's concept and my strong believe that Mr. Roland must be way too clever to lure me into spending my hard-earned cash on some noisy sample crap and frankly, he didn't disappoint me.
No, sir! Not one bit!
Lynn-drum? Hah! 
Synclavier? Hah! 
Akay S-612? Hah! 
Emulator? Hah! 
Fairlight CMI? Hahahah!
From now on all obsolete and as far as I'm concerned you all can stick'm in to a hole where the Sun never shines. I, as in 'me',  was now the proud owner of the new revolution in sound synthesis, the Roland U-220, together with extension cards like Percussion, Orchestral String, Orchestral Winds, Power Brass and such.

My first alien encounter.

I think it was around the mid-eighties that I suddenly got a call from my favorite uncle. Uncle Rocket to be exact. 
We called  him Uncle Rocket because he was some big ass bobo at ESA, the European equivalent of NASA and so every now and then invited us to come to French Guiana, the spot from where we Europeans fire our rockets into space. 
Uncle Rock told me about some alien Empire Ambassador in Area 51 who somehow had been able to learn how to the play the saxophone and now demanded to make music with real humans, rather than a labtop. The USAF however couldn't find any suited American musician that wasn't an Enemy Of The State or, like these Intel Yanks call them 'A Thread To National Security' Yeah, a rock musicians can not be any other than a terrorist. (This was clearly before 9/11) Musicians are mostly creative and do a lot of thinking what of course is the biggest thread to Freedom & Democracy in The Happy Western Hemisphere. Ship them all to Guantanamo Bay for life was the general consensus among the members of the American Intelligence Community back in the days of the Bush & Reagan Administration! 
At least so I was told after I'd suddenly found myself practically naked, somewhere in the blistering heath of the Nevada Desert round noon, without a living soul anywhere near to tell me what the fuck was going on and how I got there in the first place. Strange stings happen over there, believe me. Hot stuff. 

Anyway, long story short, the alien Ambassador my uncle was talking about had three limbs but no lungs to oxidize his transparent, ironless blood. 
That he did via a bodily opening placed where we humans normally eject our droppings from. it's a strange universe we live in.
So three limbs, huge lips and a stomach he could use to blow air into his (by president Reagan signed) golden Selmer Saxophone. 
And because he could constantly blow air trough all his bell openings, he could go on playing for ever without ever have to take a fresh breath of air.. (As long as he didn't got hungry for desertrats that is. (blink-blink.)

Bottomline is that that is why his climaxing saxophone sol sounds somewhat alien. But I suppose that he, Mister Ambassador or, like his mothers named him 'A03564##((ight^eis**dianex_666', is okay as a saxplayer. 
No breath pauses... Pretty tongue-ruining name though...

I am a keyboardman in heart and soul, but sometimes I like to grab my bass or sticks to play some groovy stuff and so this track solely exists out of a repetitive uptempo bossa-like drumpattern I added some bass guitar and finished it off with a little organ solo on top of that.

So mainly these are Me, Me and Me, happily together all sittin'in a tree. Something like that. No computers involved. 
(Well, no music generating ones anyway.)

I said yes but he never heard it because he was gone with the weed wind. Never saw him again...

I mean hey, come ón... We all have the same red blood flowing through our vanes whether we like it or not. Despite of what Trump wants you to believe. Just saying, you know? No offense.   
There is only one universal Truth out there and that's the one coming from within. And maybe that's what it's all about. 
Learning how to look inside ourselves instead of simply sitting back and let others decide for us what's real and what's not. That never worked and never will. 
We, who are alive today have been given the benefit of knowledge over sheer believe. We are the first humans that really can make a change for the better for all of us. God kinda gave us all science needed to do just that. Who's in?
