LA based DJ and producer Sam Jaspersohn debuts on Monog with a top-notch remix on Reborn. Sam was exposed to electronic music when he was 15 and he began to mix with vinyl since then. His career soon blossomed with a coast-to-coast following. He has received praise for tracks like Islands which featured on Digweed’s Bedrock 18-Signals compilation in 2016. His works have also been championed by a host of other top artists and he has appeared on top labels around the world. On the remix Sam takes us down the rabbit hole with a wondrous display of musical composition made up of deep, dark and lush tones. A solid drum section sets up a smooth rhythm while mesmerizing pads and sub shaking basses go to work. Mary’s vocal rings true throughout adding a beautiful organic flavour. An excellent track that is not to be missed.

Was wäre Musik ohne die Mutigen? Ohne diejenigen, die einfach weiter machen. Die unbeirrt ihren Weg gehen und dabei Pfade verlassen. Weiter. Immer weiter. Die sich Abend für Abend die Seele aus dem Leib spielen. Für einen Kasten warmes Bier, eine handvoll Gästelistenplätze oder einen Pennplatz auf einer ranzigen Couch. 
Nichts - Musik wäre nichts. Aber genau das ist was man macht, wenn man liebt, was man macht. Weiter. Immer weiter.

Frank Donner gehört zu diesen Mutigen. Weil er es liebt uns mit seiner Musik abzuholen, damit wir ihn ein Stück auf seinem Weg begleiten. Ob mit deepen, groovigen Sounds oder optimistisch-verspielten und experimentellen Stücken. Seine Sets fesseln vom Süden bis in die Hauptstadt und nehmen uns mit. Nicht verwunderlich also, dass der produzierende Künstler 2012 seine eigene  Veranstaltungsreihe werliebt gegründet hat. Und er damit allen klarmacht, dass es weiter geht. Durch die Republik. Von Club zu Club. Von Couch zu Couch.
