I knocked this mix together the day post attending a top shelf house and techno party in Fitzroy, Dive Bar Disco presents Das Diskothek. 

Inspired by the likes of DJ’s  Pixelton, Slieker, Slack, and Matt Radovich and getting to bed mere minutes before the sun rose, I woke up with the 4 on the floor still rotating around my mind.

I’ve been a long time lover of Ghetto or Booty Techno first hearing it when Digital Primate (Christopher Co) dropped DJ Deeon’s track “On da Floor” at a bush party in Melbourne’s Yarra Ranges back in 2001. It’s a next level crude track but boy did it grab my attention.

So I dug out some of my old booty tracks and found a few fresh ones, compiled these with some new techno releases from EU label Mutual Rytm , and added some classic acid techno and DJ Rush for good measure. It's rough around the edges but so was I on the day : )

Made this edit right before my set at the legendary Trade during Miami Music Week 2016. A sleepless, euphoric weekend fueled by dance, sweat, and pure chaos. Inspired by the neon-soaked energy of Vice City and the timeless funk of Rick James & the Mary Jane Girls, I wanted to teleport that heat back to the dance floor. Miami was on fire, and this was my love letter to it.
