I've been in hella sidequest, a smattering of random short songs I've made. Nothing here sounds like or represents the Winter EP, electronic soundscapes, synth heavy samples with me playing bass guitar and keys throughout and little metal fusion in a couple songs. A couple of these songs are truly experiments that would've never seen the light of day.

“The Earth Gonna Shake It Free” is a cosmic outlaw anthem born from the idea that human negativity doesn’t just disappear — it loads into the Earth itself. When we refuse to transform our own darkness, the planet does it for us — through volcanoes, earthquakes, storms, and fire.

This track pulls from funky Americana soul, psychedelic jam textures, and outlaw roots storytelling. Swampy riffs collide with cosmic organ swells, while call-and-response choruses carry the warning: if we don’t release our shadows with love, the Earth will release them in her own way.

It’s both prophecy and groove: a danceable earthquake, a volcanic sermon set to a jam, and a reminder that the heartbeat of the planet is tied to our own.

Let's now get started with our brand new 4 tracker EP series on the Mandrill by welcoming our head honcho - label boss: Fernando Mendoza A.K.A. The Funk District bringing us the perfect blends for the summer, get ready !!! For our first delight 'Freaky Stuff' Fernando drops a tropical funky conga - driven cut with fresh guitars, dominant slaps on the bass section and harmonic vocal chops as a starter. Right next to it comes 'Do It Right' dominated by a perpetual bassline filled with Afro vocals and trumpet riffs making it an intense cut with lots of energy. On the other side 'Soul Vibration' arrives with a tropical disco vibe with his rich rhythm section filled with congas, outstanding trumpet solos and catchy vocals to sing along. To finish the release 'Tin Lin Lon' samples a classic African tune from Benin with a funky - house touch making it an exceptional gem to make your body move anytime & everywhere ... you cannot miss it !!

Influenced by psychodelic rock, dusty funk and synthy 80s, Frankie Goes Deep started chopping and re-sampling some finest classics for fun, giving those tunes new sounds and arrangements without losing it's original vibe. Two ordinary guys from Croatia, a guitar player and a DJ, friends and former co-workers, sharing same passion for tasty music, have by now took the shot at some of the classic artists like Donna Summer, Brand New Heavies, Michael Jackson, as well as some nowadays popular names like Pharrell Williams or Bruno Mars. Growing exposure and support have been coming from around the globe and Frankie Goes Deep is being recognized as a promising musical project.
