Losing Time

Longo's sample, is the closest example to a perfect loop that I can think of. There are very few grooves with such a strong combination of funk, power and shuffle.
Looping and filtering, mentioned all too often as an uncool and lazy way of making music, probably a result of the huge amount of bad releases that the techniques are associated with. This release in your hands is the first of a series paying tribute to the crate diggers whose samples and loops in my opinion, are milestones for house music and club culture. Loops that I never got tired of listening too, even for more than two decades in some cases. With the original compositions often sought after and repressed, here we're paying respect to original "sampling artist" rather than the "sampled artist", outrageous eh?

Решение сменить музыкальную форму не пришло к нам мгновенно. Ещё во время записи мини-альбомов "СЮДА!" и "Терпение и Труд" мы начали искать новые источники вдохновения, влюбились в тучу новой музыки, которая очень отличалась от того, что мы играли. Остаться рокером в душе можно и на всю жизнь, но мы поняли, что мы больше не можем сказать что-то новое в этом стиле музыки не ударившись в самокопирование и получая те же свежие эмоции и азарт от творчества. 

Так наши демо-записи стали преображаться, в них появилась прямая бочка, клавиши, практически перестала использоваться педаль "перегруза". Началась наша собственная "лихорадка субботнего вечера". Сегодня мы выпускаем песню «Грустный Фанк», она про любовь и свободу, вернее про свободу от ненужной любви. И она очень отличается от того, что мы делали раньше. На наших концертах частенько происходил недурный слэм, теперь надеемся воодушевить вас на танец. Ура!
