Eternal 88 is an omnipresent force between gaining and losing the people we care about.  Both living and the ones we lost along the way.  We never forget.  At least I don't.  I am very hyper-focused on memories of things from the past.  But I am equal on forward thinking, what is destiny and did I make the right choices?

The pandemic introduced itself at a specific time a year ago.  Last year on April 15, 2020, New York City lost 10,000 people in the matter of 30 days.  Whatever DJ Culture was has been frozen in time to the 30 years before it.  The great reset button pressed now in 2021.

It was my actions in 1988 which led me here.  But Eternal 88 is Hellbent on 2002.  A year after 9-11.  2012 is another year.  I got stories for days.  Based on real.  All I wanted was my music & how I play it to survive.  

Onto this project.  A lot of soul searching went on to make this reality.  It's from the soul, from my heart and it's honest.  It's "Frankie Bones" in present, omnipresent moment.  The here & now.  Today.  It's still future forward.  I'm actually holding the juicy bits back letting the universe do it's thing.

It's Spring time and time to drop some DnB. I haven't done a proper mix of this genre since last summer so I was due. Another impromptu mix. Just downloaded some tunes and just played some tunes while I recorded. I am digging it. Hope you dig it too.

Liquid Funk Session (Spring 2022)

This is a wild one. The story behind it is that Scott made a couple hundred copies of this mix tape to give out as Xmas gifts for patrons attending his Buzz parties in lovely Southeast DC. Its an amazing taste of a different era of dance music. Opening track has the most hilarious samples from 20/20 with Barbara Walters talking about Raves and copping drugs. Styles go from House to Techno to Breaks and beyond. Check it out and enjoy!

ELECTRO MAGNETIC - Inside the box, or outside the box? Always just trying to do something different, something people will appreciate, and continuing a journey which never really has a beginning or ending. Are you in or out? As with most of Bones mixes, these are best listened to on a loud system on an open road, but that being said here is another one for the next journey, to destinations unknown.

FRANKIE BONES : "ELECTRO MAGNETIC"

"Call It Techno" was the blueprint track which was written on June 4, 1989.  It was at the forefront of European Rave Culture and became a well known track in the U.K. & Germany.  The documentary "We Call It Techno" explains it right from the beginning and from that came the second & third Love Parade themes being named "The Future Is Ours" off the XL/Citibeat LP by Musto & Bones.  And "My House Is Your House" from the Break Boys which was Frankie Bones aka on Fourth Floor Records in 1990.

Frankie became the American Pioneer of Rave Culture on both coasts in 1990, playing Techno as a movement.  The Peace, Love, Unity Movement which in 1993 became PLUR after a fight broke out at an event in The Bronx which had Richie Hawtin as it's headliner.

And the rest is history.  If words can paint the picture here, the first 5 Soundcloud links will describe a DJ who has a journey of a lifetime & still is active in 2024.  The music that comes from the heart & soul of the Brooklyn Underground.
