FACTORY: 2023 & BEYOND - Raw precision from the Brooklyn Underground.  If the past four years have proven anything, it's not time to rest on anything because times have changed.  Factory is my mix-tape series from 30 years ago.  Search on Youtube "FACTORY 1 - FRANKIE BONES", At that moment on July 4th, 1992 the future had arrived.  So many years later I had to deliver something magical for 2023.  To manifest the desire to produce something that goes far into the future in my own lane.  To lead & not follow.  

Whatever higher power I have is nothing short of the ultimate blessing.  Not to sound silly here but there were many forces trying to stop me dead in my tracks, and yet I made it past the offense, the ops, the gangstalkers and whoever really thought they could stop me.

The music itself has humbled me out, that is why there is no speech or vocal content as an intro. The music as always should speak in volume.  The real home of Techno is where it is the loudest.  Thanks to All.

After Hours 2023.  The Brooklyn Underground's Beach & Bridge Sess1ons parties on Plumb Beach & Under the bridge inspired by the original After Hours 1993 Yellow tape.  30 years later the sound has a West Coast Desert Party feel due to the fact that it goes way past darkness in sunrise and into the light of day.  

it's not a big festival business techno style or big room club music, though it could be.  The mixing style & track selection is a story, a journey with peaks & valley's, there are huge breakdowns & drops, but there is more too it then that.  It's the equation of literally thousands of Saturday Nights spent all around the world since 1983 - not doing math but I think we
are talking about 2088 Saturday Nights forged into next weekend.

it comes off different from anything else because it's all about having a signature style which can't be anything else but true authentic best version of self to date.

This is Factory for my Birthday today on October 16, 2020.  As I began to record this mix, I thought about 8 years ago and 4 years ago on this day.  So much has happened and you hit some goals only to get set back by things like a global pandemic.  2 years ago I just wanted to forget 2018 & 2019 all together and 2020 did start off with so much promise.

If the world is suffering, the music is not.  The music is all I got left in me.  But it was always like this.  There is tons of life left in the music and the sound.  I like to capture moments that nobody else would even think of.  Like breaks & techno - I take risks.   The floodgates are open today. When we were kids, making mixtapes for girls kind of came with the territory.  It was fun, personal and exciting.   The connection in itself was intense. Especially in the initial moment.  The initial moment here is a lot different then anything  I expected.   It's very close to the heart.

THE PLUR TAPES / VOLUME 1 - Tapes?  Remember Dem? This is a combination of that.  All the tapes from 1990's.  The ones that melted your faces off.  But hold on.  We treated genres different in the 1990's.  Since Rave began with House & Breakbeats in the 80's, Rave Culture took the House Nation worldwide and Techno & Trance were welcomed with open arms.  People forget that vibe.  I'm looking at The Plur Tapes towards 2050, using the blueprints we wrote in 1990.  This is what Rave Culture was.  But we also catered to Club Culture.  All Good DJ's should.

So what do we have here?  I always envision tomorrow.  How grateful I am to still be here doing this.  It takes prayers and faith.  But I love to share and  the pandemic has really changed us all.
