The belt of Venus, Venus belt, also Venus band or counter-dawn arc, is the name given in atmospheric optics to a phenomenon occurring during civil twilight. It is a pink to orange appearance shortly before sunrise or shortly after sunset, which runs in a band shape at an altitude of 10° to 20° parallel to the opposite horizon.

In favorable conditions, the counter-dawn arc may run semicircularly over a horizontal angular range of 180 degrees and is separated from the horizon by a dark blue-gray arc, the earth shadow arc. Looking towards the location of the sun's antipode and with a human field of view, a band-like reddish coloration of the sky can thus be perceived all around. The intensity of this predominantly orange-reddish colored Venus belt mostly reaches a maximum near the sun's counterpoint during the upper counter-dawn.

The reference to the name of the planet Venus is derived from the visibility of this lower planet. The brightest celestial object after the moon appears in the sky during twilight, as an evening star or as a morning star, but not above the opposite horizon, where the Venusian belt appears.

The name of the apparition alludes to an attribute of the ancient Greek goddess Aphrodite or her Roman equivalent Venus, namely her enchantingly lovely girdle, probably a band girdled in the chest area (called cestus in Latin, ancient Greek also στρόφιον stróphion).

Als Venusgürtel, auch Venusband oder Gegendämmerungsbogen, wird in der atmosphärischen Optik ein während der bürgerlichen Dämmerung auftretendes Phänomen bezeichnet. Es handelt sich um eine rosa- bis orangefarbene Erscheinung kurz vor Sonnenaufgang oder kurz nach Sonnenuntergang, die bandförmig in einer Höhe von 10° bis 20° parallel zum gegenüberliegenden Horizont verläuft.

Der Gegendämmerungsbogen kann im günstigen Fall halbkreisförmig über einen horizontalen Winkelbereich von 180 Grad laufen und wird vom Horizont durch einen dunklen blaugrauen Bogen, den Erdschattenbogen, getrennt. Mit Blick zum Ort des Sonnengegenpunktes und bei menschlichem Gesichtsfeld kann so ringsum eine bandförmige rötliche Färbung des Himmels wahrgenommen werden. Die Intensität dieses überwiegend orange-rötlich gefärbten Venusgürtels erreicht zumeist nahe dem Sonnengegenpunkt während der oberen Gegendämmerung ein Maximum.

Der Bezug zum Namen des Planeten Venus leitet sich von der Sichtbarkeit dieses unteren Planeten ab. Das nach dem Mond hellste Gestirn taucht während der Dämmerung am Himmel auf, als Abendstern oder als Morgenstern, allerdings nicht über dem Gegenhorizont, wo das Venusband erscheint.

Der Name der Erscheinung spielt auf ein Attribut der antiken griechischen Göttin Aphrodite beziehungsweise ihrer römischen Entsprechung Venus an, nämlich deren bezaubernd liebreizenden Gürtel, wohl ein im Brustbereich gegürtetes Band (lateinisch cestus genannt, altgriechisch auch στρόφιον stróphion).

The biblical text speaks of angels, its interpreters sometimes of angels, sometimes of men. This has philological as well as biblical reasons. The word "angel" is a foreign word, the preceding Greek word means "messenger" and can be used of supernatural powers as well as of humans. Humans can also be referred to as "angels" in the Bible (Malachi 2:7; Mark 1:2).

When speaking of humans, the motif of ascension is unproblematic. Piety and one's own striving for virtue can be symbolized by the image of the ascent, the ladder, as is then the case in the history of art.

Two years have passed since Jason Bourne, former CIA contract killer, shook off his former employers after his memory loss and went into hiding with the love of his life, Marie, in Goa, India. Jason continues to be plagued by nightmares and flashbacks from his past; he keeps seeing a scene in a Berlin hotel where he and his boss - now liquidated by the CIA - are on the scene of a murder.

Meanwhile, in the U.S., CIA operations chief Pamela Landy is preparing a new operation in Berlin. A Russian whistleblower is supposed to hand over evidence of the embezzlement of 20 million dollars by a CIA agent for the benefit of Russian liaisons for an appropriate fee. But the handover ends in front of the eyes of the CIA surveillance team with the murder of the agents involved by an unknown killer who leaves a fingerprint of Jason Bourne at the crime scene.

In Goa, Bourne discovers that someone is tailing him: Kirill the Russian, the killer from Berlin, is following him. During a car chase, Kirill accidentally shoots Marie as she relieves Bourne at the wheel. Their car plunges off a bridge into a river and Jason is just able to save his own life while making Kirill believe he drowned by diving for a long time.
In her search for the unknown perpetrator, Pam Landy has meanwhile contacted the head of the "Treadstone" secret project from the first part, Ward Abbott, and the agent supervisor at the time, Nicolette Parsons, and is finally able to match the fingerprint from the crime scene in Berlin to Bourne via the top-secret Treadstone files. When he is recognized and arrested in Naples upon entering Italy, she picks up his trail. Bourne knocks out his guards and taps the connection between the local CIA agent's cell phones and Landy. This is how he learns about the hit in Berlin and that Landy is after him. He sets off by car to Munich to question a former Treadstone agent, with Bourne the last of the program, about Landy. Bourne surprises the agent as he enters the apartment building and confronts him at gunpoint. In a moment of inattention, Bourne is attacked by the agent. A fight to the death ensues, which Bourne is able to win by strangulating the attacker. When Bourne realizes that a silent alarm has been triggered, he leaves the house - not without first opening the main valve of the natural gas connection and causing a delayed ignition of the escaping gas by jamming a magazine into a toaster that is turned on. Before the summoned reinforcements can storm the house, the explosion occurs. Jason Bourne continues on to Berlin, where he contacts Landy by phone and asks for a meeting with Nicolette Parsons on the busy Alexanderplatz. Here, in the hustle and bustle of the big city, he is able to escape the CIA surveillance team after learning from Nicolette that the background to Landy's failed Berlin operation was the assassination of Russian politician Vladimir Neski, who was on the trail of embezzling CIA funds...

According to the legendary story of her life and suffering, Solina, daughter of noble pagan parents, learned about Christianity in her youth and vowed virginity. Because her parents wanted to marry her off, she fled to Chartres, where she lived in a monastic house dedicated to Mary. During the persecution of Christians under Emperor Diocletian, she was brought before his bench under the prefect Quirinus, confessed to be a Christian, resisted flattery and threats, and was thrown into prison, then sentenced to death and beheaded.

Christians buried Solina on the site of what later became the Abbey of Saint-Père-en-Vallée in Chartres. Many miracles occurred at her tomb through her intercession. Later her bones were placed in a gilded shrine.

A simple idea: what if an astronaut on a mission was hurled into space, like in the movie "Gravity"? His spacesuit still offers him an estimated 45 minutes of oxygen to breathe. He floats close to the orbit of a planet, but its gravity is too weak. But even if it were strong enough to bind him to it, what then? He dives into the atmosphere and...burns up! So he floats through the darkness of space for an infinite 44 minutes until he passes out. True, with a fantastic view in 360 degrees...but what's the use?

We are SO small that after 45 minutes (44 minutes because the unconsciousness will occur before) we have hardly put back more than a few kilometers. Kilometers in which our entire life runs like a movie in front of the mind's eye. 

We are small in view of the sheer infinite size of space!

Nexus 4 - Hollywood 2 Core Library. Here I loaded the Strings and Choir preset from the "Vocal/Choir" category. I adjusted the attack a bit to get a smoother sound. It supports the sung staccatos of the choir from Spitfire Audio as a soundscape.
Then, last but not least, I used Sonuscore's The Orchestra Complete 3 again for the horns and loaded the "Horns of Hell" preset. I reduced the internal reverb a bit for this and also worked with dynamics and expression via mod wheel here.

Since I am quite lazy when it comes to drum pattern programming: The drums and percussion are ready-made samples and come from KeepForest, HighLife and other sample forges.
All in all, there are six instrument tracks loaded here in FL Studio and three audio tracks. There's also an EQ, compressor, and delay and reverb on the master. That's it!

What have the Catholic, Protestant and other churches taught us? Charity? Understanding? ...and so much more. They have practiced other things for more than 2000 years. Oppression, people led away from convictions, imprisoned and tortured, raped and abused, even children! Galileo Galilei was one of the victims. Johannes Kepler had to fear for his life when he established his theories. Yes, even the Church was hostile to its followers: Martin Luther!

Where would we be if these autocratic, chosen inquisitors had not existed in the "dark ages"? I claim we would be at least 500 years ahead with progress, technology and knowledge...EVERY SINGLE ONE!

Darkness Of Times

The biblical account of creation (Gen. 1:27 EU) says: "And God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; and he created them male and female." Adam and Eve first live in the Garden of Eden. There Eve is persuaded by the serpent to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, despite God's prohibition. This serpent is often referred to the devil in the Christian tradition; this equation is already found in the New Testament in Rev 12:9 EU. The common image of the apple as the forbidden fruit of paradise is not based on a translation error in the Latin Bible, the Vulgate, but on the fact that in the Latin language the word malus can mean "apple tree", but also "bad, evil", just as malum can mean "apple" or "the evil, the bad, the evil". This resulted in an obvious play on words, especially since the Vulgate translated the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" from the original Hebrew text as lignum scientiae boni et mali. The rejection of God's commandments expressed in eating the forbidden fruit is considered disobedience to God in both the Jewish and Christian religions. Christianity speaks of the Fall.

As a result of the rebellion, the Bible describes Adam and Eve realizing their nakedness, whereupon they make themselves an apron of fig leaves. They try to hide from God. For the first time, something is present in the Garden of Eden that was not known before: the violation of the sense of shame. God confronts them, whereupon Adam blames Eve and Eve blames the serpent. Both are expelled from the Garden of Eden, but God makes them fur clothing as protection. Eve must henceforth bear children in pain, and Adam is given the hard and laborious task of farming. The classic words from Gen 3:19 EU: "For dust thou art, and unto dust thou shalt return" express, according to Christian interpretation, that death has now entered the world, since humans have remained mortal. Enmity will prevail between Eve, the serpent and their respective descendants.

In the biblical narrative, after the expulsion from Paradise, Adam begets Cain, Abel and Set with Eve. Genesis 5:4 also mentions other unnamed daughters and sons that Adam fathered after the birth of Set. Adam's total age is given as 930 years.

Just another day in quadrant L2V-427: a spaceship shoots past Disco Cat's flying keyboard at breakneck speed! There are already quite a few scrap satellites in this area anyway, you can hardly see the intersection. Nevertheless this hooligan shaves the flight path of Disco Cat. Didn't he see an emblem in the rearview mirror on the side of the passing spaceship? SPACE CAT!!! Clear as day!

It went well again, but with a pulse like a hummingbird Disco Cat lands first on the planet hidden under space junk to regain his composure!

Cry Me A River

Kerma was built in 2500 BC and resisted the Egyptians for a millennium. Today, an uninformed eye has trouble finding the traces of that time. We see only a ruin of sand-colored, unfired bricks: the deffufa, the former place of worship. The ground around it still suggests the foundations of houses.

A thousand years after its beginnings, the kingdom of Kush had grown so large that it stretched between the second and fourth cataracts of the Nile, more than 700 kilometers. Trade flourished because gold, ivory and ebony had to take this route on their way from the interior of Africa to Egypt. For the pharaohs of the 18th Dynasty, the rulers on the southern border of their empire became too powerful. Around 1550 B.C. Thutmosis I and Thutmosis II advanced successively into the Upper Nubian Nile Valley. The fighting for Kerma lasted a long time, but by the end of the century the city had been conquered and destroyed. After the destruction of Kerma, the Egyptians occupied Upper Nubia until the fourth cataract of the Nile. Nobody knows what happened to the Nubian kings after that. Archaeologists lack any trace of them. But in Napata, below the fourth cataract, they reappear. The new capital of the Kush Empire lay not far from the Nile and was a crossroads of trade routes. In front of its gates loomed the Chebel Barkal.

The Nubians regarded the plateau as the seat of the god Amun, the god of kings, whom the Egyptians also worshipped. The Chebel Barkal has some requirements. You have to climb it early in the morning or an hour before sunset, otherwise you will perish from heat during the ascent. To the east, a 75-meter-high rocky needle stands out. Its peak has contributed a lot to the legends surrounding the mountain. For the ancient rulers saw in it a uraeus, a cobra. And the snake was the totem animal of the pharaohs.

My music lives, breathes, thinks, feels. All that I live, breathe, think, feel. And it fills me. Although my music is animated by the simplest chords, it is still meant to convey joy. Sometimes sad, sometimes self-critical, sometimes upbeat and cheerful, then again melancholic and yet heavy. Sometimes epic, sometimes romantic, here and there folk elements, oriental influences, then again strong beats and percussion, trance, dance....pop, dynamic riffs, harmonic chords, guitar sounds leading away...and there is an Ambient character mostly to find.
 
I hope the diversity does not confuse too much. Just as I can't keep my inner self in check when writing and creating music, I can't keep it in check when expressing myself. Maybe one or the other will find exactly what he or she is looking for at this moment. Would be very happy to have helped in the search....

For those of you who are interested, I have been making music since I got my physical abilities under control. I really do not know with certainty to name, whether my legacies in the diapers at that time, along with the sounds that conditioned this, can be called music. Well, anyway: I've been consciously making music for a little over 4...oops..40 years. Now one or the other wonders: "Why does he annoy us with it now?". Quite simply: because I CAN! In the past, one was not given the opportunity to have such a valuable platform. Four years ago I started to develop my songs, which I wrote YEARS before and played on small organs, and decided to upload them here. Nobody really wants to hear my old cassette recordings anymore, really. 

I strive for a certain quality, but do not cherish the claim of professionalism. For four years I cherish and maintain this site, had several times my difficulties with comments, with soundcloud itself. At the moment it works and that's why I'm happy to continue to participate. 

On 31.12.2022 by the way, my soundcloud banner will be updated and then.... yes then you will also see my face, my face! Eeeeeh, wait...My weight...I mean my weight! 😂
