If You Forget Me - Frank E Sanabria II  Feat. Heather Peters

Liberty and Death formed from two cousins' love of music and storytelling. When Ian Short and Frankie Sanabria met in high school they had no idea they were related. It wasn't until Frankie's mom made the connection over ribs and greens on a dusty afternoon in Jesup, Georgia where the boys were playing old-style tunes on the porch that the connection was made and they've been jamming ever since. Frankie, being raised around soul and oldies draws his inspiration heavily from Motown, classic blues, and rock and roll while Ian melodies can be attributed to his bluegrass and country flavored upbringing. Together, with Frankie usually writing the lyrics and Ian the music, they have created a unique and fresh sound with old school lyrics that will hopefully stick with you when the strings have quit humming.

Though still putting together enough material for a studio album we're putting our lo-fi tracks on Soundcloud because we're excited about our songs and can't wait to share the sound. We hope you'll come away from listening to us with a tap in your step and music in your soul.
