on today's episode of "why do I keep trying to make background vocals when I suck at it?"...

fun fact: I've been trying to write this one for months (I only had the title). and it's actually a song about myself: I felt like there was certain irony in the word "alright" which is my first answer everytime someone asks me "how are you?". I knew I wanted to write about that word, but it was almost impossible every time I tried, uNTIL NOW. So this is basically like a fight between the side of me that knows what's best for me, and the side that's always doing what she wants, the side I can't help to be. 
but yeah, why not, you can send it to your ex boy/girl-friend.

Week 34 #songaweek2020. Maybe the only completely instrumental track I've ever recorded! Photo is my lovely daughter this summer at a lake in northern Minnesota. If you listen really closely you might hear my rowdy backyard squirrels who "enhanced" the lead guitar track.
