Frank Storm and Francis De Simone link up on Solid Grooves for their collaborative single, 'Quarterback.'

Already home to big collaborations such as Michael Bibi & KinAhau's 'Different Side' with Audio Bullys, and the Solid Grooves founder's huge single 'Otto's Chant' with Skream, the latest release on the label welcomes a first time collaboration between two emerging Italian talents from the house landscape as Frank Storm and Francis De Simone link forces. 

Having both collaborated with a wealth of names across recent years, the two DJ/producers unite for the very first time as they both make their Solid Grooves debuts. The result is 'Quarterback', an impactful and hooky production armed with vibrant vocals, rolling percussion, and skippy grooves - showcasing a blend of the two talents' individual styles to a tee.

Frank Storm, Chameleonic Maestro of the Dance Floor is a dynamic force in both the booth and the studio, always staying true to his roots. At the heart of his craft lies an infectious groove and slick drum programming, enabling him to adapt seamlessly to any situation. His love for dance music ignited in his uncle's car, and the joy he experienced then continues to resonate, whether he’s grooving as a dancer or commanding the party as a DJ.
After moving to Ibiza to pursue his passion, Frank quickly became a staple at venues like No Name ibiza in 2014, making a name for himself among those in the know. With a vision to curate entire nights, he launched the critically acclaimed Unusual Suspects party, securing a residency at Sankeys Ibiza in 2015. This night distinguished itself by celebrating underground sounds over mainstream acts, building a vibrant community of serious music enthusiasts who cherished the quality soundtracks provided by top-tier artists. As a result, Unusual Suspects gained traction across Europe, hosting showcases at iconic venues like EGG London, IPSE Berlin, and Pacha ibiza and Barcelona, drawing fans from around the globe.
Frank thrives on the personal connection he forges with his audience. He gazes into the eyes of his dancers, transmitting his passion and enthusiasm as they embark on a musical journey through atmospheric house, sleek tech, and everything in between—always infused with fun and character, often spanning generous timeframes to weave a compelling narrative. His sets are a tapestry of fast grooves, warm saturated sounds, and soulful vocal samples, each reflecting his unique artistic style.
Frank’s breakout release, "Gimme the Honey," on Hot Creations launched him into the spotlight. He followed this success with a series of club-friendly yet distinctive EPs on renowned labels such as Get Physical, Solid Grooves, Circus, 432 and Kaluki.
The next chapter in Frank’s journey involves launching his own label and events series named “Crunch.” , he emphasizes freedom for himself, his friends, and favorite producers to create without limitations. This exciting development marks another fascinating evolution in the career of one of dance music’s youngest, hungriest, and most unique artists.
As his brand rapidly expands, Frank is curating a series of sold-out events in some of Europe’s finest cities, promising unforgettable nights filled with rhythm and soul.
