WHAT IS THIS ALBUM?

It is a cry for help and a call to arms. A trap and an escape. Reality and fiction.

IT IS MY COMEBACK AND MY EXIT.

My roots are in early hardcore and gabber, but I am influenced by everything I hear, see, experience and this album is an attempt to add vocals, messages, feelings, melodic elements, nordic melancholy to the strict, minimalistic, desolate world of Doomcore - the genre that has been my home ever since Robert and I released X-Core #2 under the Underground Music umbrella in the year 2000.

This album sounds like everything I am inspired by - and at the same time like nothing else.

The storm in the distance looked ominous and alien. Each time the lightning struck, it sent out colourful strings which connected to the buildings and trees and me. It's almost as if everything in the nature resonated on the same frequency. But then I realized, it's just the acid.

We've now reached the end of Social Unrest.  A decision I've been mulling over for some months now.

This started as an outlet for me during Covid.  Since then the scene has changed so much, it's pretty much unrecognisable to me.  So with that it's time to end this.

Will something else replace it?  Right now I don't know.  It could be the end of the road in many ways.

But for now, there's one last hour to get through.
