HéLicon - You ... See (Marcello Giordani Rework)

'A decade has passed since Infinity Night graced Bordello A Parigi with his wonderful Winter and Summer EPs. After too long a wait, the French producer returns with the aptly titled Le Temps Qui Passe. Six slices of select synthesizer music make up the 12”, tracks lovingly crafted with Frederic Bergamaschi’s trademark analogue warmth. A melancholic melody meanders through brightness in “Tu Ne Me Réponds Pas”, dulcet words hidden under the machine gauze of a vocoder. Skittish percussion gives way to the refrain of “It’s Full of Stars”. Hazy keys appear as an arpeggiator rumbles below a shimmering sky. “Les Souvenirs De Valerie” picks up where its predecessor left off. Astral notes are beamed into the heavens, echoing into the while crisp cymbals tether the piece. Infinity Night has always sought that point of balance in his music, a bittersweetness he accentuates and explores. This is true in the darker shades of “Nymphomania”. Beats are bolstered, key stabs piercing the tenderness of analogue trills. The title track is a rich patchwork. A burbling undercurrent supports forays into diverse tangents with lyrics surfacing through key shifts and sliding scales. Marching to militaristic rhythms, “I Comme Icare” is the curtain call. The stringent drums are broken by sailing synthlines, vocals masked in a familiar mesh to close. Le Temps Qui Passe, well worth the wait.'

Infinity Night - Les Souvenirs De Valerie

Timeless Echoes made their debut on Jansen Jardin back in September '24 with the downtempo gem, Aquatic. Now they make a welcome return with a wonderful new track, Swell! A mid-tempo groover perfect for those summer evenings.

Timeless Echoes are a music production duo consisting of Tera, a DJ/beat-maker, and Yota Miyachi, a synthesizer player/composer.
They formed in 2020 to explore the possibilities of making music with sampling and synthesizers.
Their laid-back sound is a cross between Tera's samples, edited from his vast record archives, and Yota Miyachi's rippling synth sounds.
They released their first EP "Melody At The Ocean" in 2020.

Balearic sounds and Mediterraneanwarmth are the inspirations for Bruno Belissimo’s Bordello A Parigi debut. Drawing on disco, house and funk, Ottimo! is a four tracker of electronic exuberance with Belissimo’s musical ability and range immediately spilling from the speakers. Guitar strings curve around synthlines in the title piece, percussive textures giving way to the mantra-like refrain of “Ottimo!” Thick bass echoes into beaming keys for “Meduse.” Bright notes cascade, grooves  melting with vocoder lyrics as classic disco tones are reimagined in this modern mirrorball medley. Organic rhythms introduce the flip. “Mirage” opens to ripples of bongos and toms as a loose structure takes hold. Hedonistic chants rise to a shimmering chord, kicks and snares funnelling the building energy as bold blasts and samples shriek with delight. “Las Piramides de Ibiza” brings the quartet to a close. Clean drum patterns support joyous notes, a machine dipped voice calling time.

This is the original version of my track Carradine. I made this track in 2014 but I lost all track files when my computer broke down. Luckily I made some demo versions and this was the best one. It was mastered back then by A.P. but I pumped it up a little bit more. The other version of Carradine was made with this track as a reference, so you can hear the big differences. I am not sure which version is cooler, but I am happy to have this one here now. I hope you like it.

"Ah Ya Albi" is a song originally performed by Egyptian singer Hakim. The song, which translates to "Oh My Heart", is a popular Arabic song known for its energetic and emotional style. This song is the best manifestation of the period when Arabic folk (known as shaabi) expressing itself through contemporary sounds. 

Hakim, often called "The Lion of Shaabi," played a key role in popularizing this genre globally, infusing it with contemporary beats while keeping its roots in Egyptian street culture. "Ah Ya Albi" stands out for its catchy melody, powerful vocals, and the raw, heartfelt expression typical of shaabi music.

In her own words....

I chose this track because I have always been captivated by the vibrant and mystical sounds of Middle Eastern music. As a DJ, I often perform at parties dedicated to Middle Eastern electronic rhythms, one of which is held in Russia, in Orenburg, called Chastota 528. This track beautifully embodies the rich colors and soulful melodies of the Egypt. When I first heard it, I was instantly inspired and felt a deep desire to transform it into an electronic version that would capture its essence and bring its magic to life on the dance floor.
