Introduction in English:
Since childhood, I have always enjoyed spending time in nature and especially in the woods. Often no one knew exactly where I was. I told my mother that I was in "Transylvania". Then she knew not to ask. 
At my secret nature places I always found a deep security and a protection from the everyday demands which threatened to overrun me from time to time. 
This is basically true to this day. 
I find it all the more painful that many forests in which I used to find so much peace and harmony no longer exist today or are threatened with extinction. 
I try to give this pain a musical expression with the song "Mother Earth". 
The cover for the song this time comes from the Polish artist Renata Golab.

Mother earth

Stone rubble, sore veins,
Trees without bark root fracture
Lions toothless, worn nails,
Wingless birds in the canyon

Meadows pale, no play of clouds,
The wind song is menacingly silent
The milk of cows dry sand
Chicken gods stones eyeless at the edge

I hold the mother earth
Soon runs completely through my hand
So sore the mother earth
The last tree in the trunk already almost burned up

Meadows stand colorless on the pastures
Winds are unleashed and distraught
Cats without fur and without paws
Dogs without snouts, biting -shy

Rose bushes are a sea of stumps
Sunflowers pea-small
Birds do not sing, the stable is empty
The clouds, hard as moonstone

Together

For a couple of years I have had a line of work open that is the composition of piano pieces whose harmony is based on the "Tonnetz". The one I'm publishing here is the third one that I compose (the other two are "Parsimonious Trichords" and "Walking by four-note chords") and there would still be a fourth to finish this chapter and that I think I will compose soon.

Six-note chords

Sometimes it's all too much! A remake of a "Sun Tower" classic, (Shaels other band on SC) this one might help you with that weight on your shoulder. Sung sweetly by Sierra Wolfe, Shael Wrinch and Chris Herbsen on guitars, and produced as always by Shael at the Stone Hill studio on Bowen Island.
