The time that I made this mix is around 2015 with vinyl and a lot of tracks from the excellent German label Kompakt. I think that Club and  Housescene were a little bit  different than. More edge, grime and a bit more analog. The mix was a custom build for my friend von the old Pat. Timing is everything and I would play this mix just after a hefty night out or on a  the after from the after when things are a bit hazy.  But after work allso works for me. More DJ Franzie Vibes. This little open groover is straight from the machine's! a live recorded Jam with just a few edits. Great for the afterparty early morning vibe. Made on a Digitakt, TB-3 And TR-8 There are some samples in there from 60 ties sci-fi voices.

That Dirty Slow Groove

Jacob Collier is a great musician whose voice I took as an intro to this dreamy track. He talks about being a starting drummer with great love for the expiriment. But he is tied by school to play this  simple tikky tokky rythm . I love sample based housemusic from the time of Chicago. Early hardware samplers and the hiss and noise from analog gear is what gives texture and noise to sound.
