Belfast brothers Cocktail Cool are a dynamic DJ & Producer duo composed of Timmy & Scott. With a shared passion for music, Cocktail Cool have started to make waves in the electronic music scene over the past few years.

Rawb Boss - the electrifying alter ego of renowned DJ, producer, and dancer Coflo -  is poised to make a stunning debut with his full-length album ‘Coafeelia,’ set for release on the illustrious Yoruba Records. Known for championing innovative and boundary-pushing artists, Yoruba Records provides the perfect platform for Rawb Boss to unleash his unique creative vision.
Raised in the vibrant Bay Area of California, Coflo’s journey through music and dance has been nothing short of extraordinary. A life-long devotee of American-style house dance and the Afro-Brazilian martial art Capoeira, Coflo seamlessly weaves these influences into his productions. As the head of A&R at Ocha Records, his original beats and remixes for Yoruba Records have garnered acclaim from industry legends like Louie Vega, Anané, and Osunlade. In 2023, Coflo’s remix of Ron Trent's ‘Black Magic Woman’ for Sacred Medicine, a label founded by Joe Claussell and Ron Trent, solidified his reputation as a visionary artist. He’s had further releases on Atjazz, Local Talk, and T’s Box.
The other worldly Rawbert Bartholomew Bossington, known in the underground scene as ‘Peanut Butter Lover,’ is a true class act. Growing up on gritty dance floors, he developed an ear for the hottest tunes, inspired by psychedelic masters and marked by ever-evolving vocals. Rawb Boss’s artistry is pure poetry fused with intergalactic funk, culminating in a debut album that’s as unique as it is captivating.
‘Coafeelia’ offers a dynamic and infectious collection of tracks, each telling its own story through deep, dark, and danceable grooves. From the bass-heavy ‘She Bad,’ - a soulful homage to elusive girls on the dancefloor,  to the deep house rhythms of ‘That’s What It Is,’ the funk-driven ‘Play This Game,’ the off-kilter ‘Foldgers In Your Cup,’ and the lush, syncopated ‘Sedativ Medativ’ that urges listeners to learn and grow from their experiences.
Rawb Boss’s debut album is a liberating departure from his previous work, delivering a series of vocal-driven tracks that explore the nuances of daily life and our deepest inner monologues..

Universo Positivo, founded in 2014 by Joseph Salvador, has made some powerful first steps with releases by Dutch techno pioneer Orlando Voorn, and Detroit royalty, the late Amp Fiddler. Running the ‘Tomorrow is Now Kid!’ party in the early 90s along with Alex Salvador, these dudes heavily influenced the shape of the Amsterdam scene at that time. Universo Positivo’s musical vision is to mirror the ethos of those vibrant parties with a musical agenda of cosmic disco and uplifting house, powered by strong soulful vocals.
The labels next release comes from Tokyo Joe Orchestra of cult label TINK! entitled ‘I Release You’. This record may sound familiar but it’s all original beats; organic bass, orchestral stabs, delicious arpeggios lifted from the memories of those halcyon days of soulful disco and get-down boogie, created by Tokyo Joe Orchestra in his cave of vintage analog synths.
Featuring Angel-A, a native Detroiter whose powerful songwriting and vocal ability has earnt her praise and collaborations with Moodymann, Karizma, Timmy Regisford, Roy Davis Jr, touring with The Clark sisters, Oleta Adams and Pattie Labelle, and releasing on Mahogani Music, Quantize, and Nervous Records. Orlando Voorn brings his golden knowledge and sublime skill to his ‘Goosebump Remix’. There is a further re-tweak from UK producer Reece Johnson who’s been knocking it out of the park lately on Nervous, Lumberjacks in Hell, and Tropical Disco.
This modern soul ballad ‘I Release You’ gets done four ways - the OG lays out its subtle stall allowing Angel-A’s deep and sultry voice to shine. Orlando’s chilling version is the deepest cut of them all, while house head Reece Johnson brings pure vibes to his ‘Soulful’ rework. There’s also an ‘Instrumental’ tucked in for those who prefer to leave the vocal aside.

You’ll hear disco drums, over housy drum machines, eerie sound effects surrounding groovy keyboards and vocals franctically whispering at the dancer’s ears.

Mystic Freaks - Departure

U All Disco Lovers EP gets the remix treatment with 2 extra tracks from veteran french producer Art Of Tones and young guns Floorfillers making it a 5-track EP. And once again, it’s a very hot one ! Released in july 2023, the EP received critical acclaim and has been supported by DJs like Laurent Garnier, Jamie Jones, Breakbot to quote only but a few. It’s also one of the best sellers in the Frappé Catalogue. This new remix edition is likely to rock the charts once again, with these 2 remixes of the title track « U All Disco Lovers ».

Art Of Tones delivers a funky and sexy interpretation, with all the lush production that makes his signature sound. Syncopated with additionnal female vocals, this is a beautiful piece of work from the french master.

Picking the same track, the Floorfillers take a very different artistic path for their remix, adding to the original track the electronic rawness and energy they’ve become famous for. It starts with heavy drum machines and acidy sound overlaping the original strings and building up to a mid-track climax. Impressively efficient.

The record will be available in digital and vinyl format, with a very cool, collectable pink vinyl available in the best DJ stores.
